I can't wait for tomorrow, I finally get to see my family again! I haven't seen them since... late September? Labor Day maybe? It's certainly been a while. :gonk:

Unfortunately, I have to get a jump to start my car tomorrow so that I can /get/ there. :c

I also finished wrapping gifts today! Whee! We bought wrapping paper last year but the cats trashed it (go figure), so this year I just used newspaper to wrap it. And then I found a really neat how-to for making newspaper bows, so now they're fancy! :3

I thought about doing newspaper wrappings this year, but ended up going with plain white wrapping paper instead. I still have a lot of wrapping to do, but I'm so slow at it because I don't want it to look like crap. And I have a lot of little gifts. Its just blah.

Margie, yum, bbq <3 and yeah, pirates is probably the easiest ride they have. kind of boring, but still fun. and indiana jones isn't too bad. might be a bit jerky though.

Yeah, I'm also terrible at wrapping gifts... but the fact that i wrapped in newspaper distracts from the fact that I did such an awful job. xD Also, bows! :lol:

Haha. Mine don't look bad. My mom is amazing at wrapping gifts. I would have had her wrap all the gifts, but that would mean she would know what she's getting.

Last year was a hilarious Christmas... my dad wrapped all the gifts with different wrapping paper, so he didn't have to label anything, he just knew who had what paper and sorted them that way. So when my brother called and asked if anything under the tree with his name on it, dad truthfully said "no" and my brother threw a FIT... so I wrapped a piece of charcoal and put his name on it so he'd have a present with his name on it under the tree. xD

Nice. Sounds like something my dad would do to me if he had his way with the wrapping. My mom likes to make individual labels for all of the presents. She takes her typical pretty cursive and kind of exaggerates it and makes it super curly and fun.

Ugh, I have awful handwriting. Addressing invitations to our reception was such a pain, I can't imagine what it's like to be a professional calligrapher. :gonk:

My handwriting isn't really very tidy and proper, but I'm quite fond of it. Sometimes I write just to look at my handwriting and not to actually get anything done with it. I'll write out lyrics from songs that I have stuck in my head, or just whatever comes to mind.

I like to write the alphabet backwards. I'm not good at writing it forward because I don't know it as well DX
