Corn sounds good.
We had stew with a lot of corn & beans in it on Sunday.
It had started as Spaghetti sauce on Saturday & by yesterday it was a messy dip.
No much left of it now.
Miscreant decided to put it in the slow cooker & just add stuff to it everyday to make it last & make for easy meals.
We haven't done that in a while, but it was good. Think we will make it again soon.

I'm sort of burned out on apple juice right now.
That was about all I drank all weekend long.
I was just in a mood for juice.

I got a slow cooker from the food shelf once and I tried making pot roast and it tasted horriable because the crock pot was too old and was leaching into the food! ewwww!

That's not good.
We replace our slow cooker or crock pots every few years.
We had one that the crock broke in, I hated when that happened it was the best one we ever had.
I got the slow cooker for Christmas, its nice it even has a mini cooker with it for small dishes or sauces.

Yea it was and I hate throwing out food! It's almost painful when you have to throw out so much food when you have so little to begin with!

Hmm the bf might come over to cook for me because of all the art I have to do. I'm glad I can post in between coats.

I don't like wasting food, especially with the way prices are now.
I don't think most people can afford to waste food.

No I cannot afford to waste food I am on a food stamps and food shelf budget.
