i worked... i took the girl i work with, a teenager, to the mall, out to lunch, to the animal refuge league and then to the park to walk and feed the ducks! it wasn't bad over all... but the girl hates any kind of exercise lol

yea, it's a perk of the job... i get to hang out with kids and sometimes we have good days and sometimes we have bad days... but the good days are great, like today

ok... so my job title is a behavioral health professional... i go into homes of families who have kids with behavior issues, and now autistic kids too, and i help them learn life skills (shopping, hygiene, cleaning, work, etc), social skills (how to act in the community, using proper words to express feelings, communicating properly with others etc.) and behavior skills (how to cope when upset, using words instead of hitting/kicking, not running away when stressed, etc)... it's not so bad all the time... i just need more hours :P

of course i am, wingsy :( i'm supposed to be getting a new kid soon, but of course they are lollygagging per usual and it's making me mad... i just can't seem to catch a break... i do think i'm going to have to apply for another job, prolly a lowly retail one, for the holiday season so i can save and maybe love out of here come spring or until they give me more hours... i'm arely getting 20 a week, it's so stupid
i'd love to come to texas and work as a bartender! that'd be fun! i've only been to houston like twice and i didn't get to see much of anything... le sigh, if only i knew people down there or had family down there... *shrugs*

but i'm ok... have a little bit of a headache and watching harry potter now :P how are you?

I would love it if you came to Texas. Houston would probably be the best area for bartending too. Though small towns have a ton of country bars. And college towns are probably good too. Like college station (that's were A&M is)

that sounds like a great way to make money! the call for bartenders around here aren't very big so i got the license and took the class for basically no reason at all booooooo and retail in the holiday season is not my idea of fun, but it'll pass the time and i'll get more money so i might as well do it

the only thing keeping me in maine is the fact that i want to do racing again next summer... how sad is that? lol

a cheaper way to satisfy my itch would be best lol as it is, i think i need to try focusing and learning something else... i was thinking either an instrument or a language... but i can get language programs for free thanks to soda, so i'm leaning towards that... i'm excited to learn again... since i graduated i haven't challenged myself or made any goals, so this feels nice

i am getting the japanese rosetta stone and i'm going to try to be super diligent with it, but i lack self motivation for the most part... but after all the help i've gotten in getting it, i better use it lol

my mom and i usually rent (or find) and rewatch all the harry potter movies on thanksgiving... i wonder why it seems to be a thanksgiving thing? lol

oh Japanese!! You should totally tell me any interesting words you learn! I love that language. And get someone else to be like a semi-taskmaster who will keep you focused.

huh. I'm the only one in my family who really likes them, so I usually just end up watching them when they are on. Plus, I don't own them all.

Haha. There's not many asian people here either. The only asian people I see are foreign exchange students and own chinese restaurants.

I'm watching Friends. I've been watching it almost obsessively ever since it was put on Nick @ Nite

nick at nite has changed so much... when i was a kid i used to watch it and they played the really old shows like 'get smart', 'the mary tyler moore show', 'dick van dyke, 'i dream of jeannie', 'i love lucy' and all other kinds... makes me sad

Yeah, it is really really different. I think the oldest show on there now might be the Nanny.
