yeah. that's definitely the horrible part of things. but distance and good and often what we need.

so i totally kept forgetting to respond here. and then i convinced myself into thinking i did. and yeah. no.

only things I"m really watching right now are Teen Wolf and then a korean drama called I Remember You which is sherlock-esque.

it's ok, i forgive you i just started 'star crossed' today it's pretty good. last week i finished 'witches of east end' and was soooo disappointed by the end and they aren't making anymore. i bought the book series and i'm not super hopeful i'll get my answers.

i hadn't either until netflix recommended it and it's eerie how they are right sometimes. it's about this alien race in the near distant future that crash lands on earth. as you can imagine, it's a huge blown out of proportion reaction and all the aliens are wrangled up and either killed or put in a sort of seclusion. they look like us on the outside but have these birthmark/tattoo things on their faces and bodies. it starts with a little girl trying to save a little alien boy and then it's ten years later.

that's good it's not campy. so often those plots turn really, really campy.

It's called The Sidhe. It's about this society where elven creatures called the sidhe are use as sex slaves. And the plot follows the romance between a human Brieden and one of those Sidhe (not in a creepy way, like Brieden saves Sehrys, doesn't buy him or anything like that). And it's also about the political intrigue and problems that a society like that inevitably brings with it. I should add it's an LGBT romance novel and so that thread runs through it too, about different sexualities.

i did know there's gonna be a third (and i think a fourth too) but i still never finished the second.

yea the third one is already out. i saw it last week at books a million.

it does sound interesting, the sidhe i mean. is it straight up lgbt romancing or is it more of a little of everything?

nice. yeah then he's still writing the fourth one.

it's action/adventure/romance/fantasy. those are the four genres i'd put it in.

it's my birthday and i had to work sooooo ya know, there's that. my work friends invited me out for some beers and food after and that was a lot of fun but very short lived as i was home by about 9pm and all alone watching netflix because my car has been broken for a week and i couldn't go to new jersey for the weekend to meet college friends (plus other friends too) as planned sooo i'm here. alone. again for the third year in a row. life is awesome..... /sarcasm
