also, it's only sparsely furred because it's kind of a newborn
-- it'll look more like a tribble from Star Trek when it's matured,
and by that time it should have white-ish fur.

Yeah, that's the reason I decided to dress this way. I guess I expected a Phoenix Jubilee to be more.. bright, warm, grand-fire-birdy, rather than dark haunted abandoned mine exploring. We've got a way to go yet..

Did you know that during its mating season,
which as with normal creatures only happens after maturity,
the tips of its fur turns pink? ^^
The males generally have a deeper pink than the females though. :)
