My favorite is when the characters know they are suppose to shot the dumb zombies in the head and yet they still shoot them in the chest. WTF? Seriously, why waste the ammo when you know that you are running low. I say go for the kill and get it over it. Then again, I am a pretty straight forward kind of person and see no reason why the beasties don't deserve it in the head. Even if it was my own family, if it came down to them eating me or me blowing them away, serl preservation comes first. Anyone else feel this way?

Yes, I think people aim for the head but miss and hit the chest cuz it's a larger target. Since most people in those movies get the guns later they aren't all trained marksmen able to get the bullet between the eyes.
I agree though If I had to shot someone I knew I would.

not like the good old days when The Lone Ranger could shoot the guns out of the hands of the bad guys.

I am sure that the Lone Ranger could definitely do some damage against the zombies, but I honestly don't think he would be mentally equipped to handle them.

Any of you see I am Legend? That movie was insane with how real it seemed. Just reaffirms my belief that we as humans need to be more conscious of the things we vaccinate ourselves against. There are just some things that are better left to run their course.

Yup, I've been looking for the book to see the differences between that and the movie. Will Smith surprised me in that movie. I still picture him as the Fresh prince.

I am Legend is actually a remake of another movie with Charles Hestong according to my father. The name of the movie escapes me at this particular moment in time, but I am sure that it will randomly pop into my cranium sometime this afternoon. I'll post it when I think of it.

I am listening to my yahoo radio right now and the Dixie Chicks' song Traveling Soldier came on. This is one of the few songs that can make me cry no matter how many times that I have heard it. Have any songs that can evoke that kind of response from you?

The last movie I saw was Strange Wilderness. Haven't laughed so hard at a movie in a long time. Rodd was laughing so hard he was crying. Me, I was beat red because I have this habit of not breathing when I start laughing really hard.

Movies are great if you go with the right person and you find one that you both enjoy.

The book was made in 1954 and the movie your talking about was done 10 years later (or somewhere around there) It was call the Last man on earth, there was also one named Omega man in the 70s.

Nephila: Thank you, that was the name of the movie, Omega Man.

I think I need to find that book and read it. Perhaps Barnes and Noble has. Might just have to stop on my way home from work, since it is conveniently across the street from my house. Mayhaps I will walk...

This is so weird. I want to jump around and dance and stuff, but my hubby is sleeping during the days now so I can't. Lilith is having a hard time adjusting too.
