Yeah, I figured why you'd need it after Lance's info and re-reading the post. I'm just difficult to place due to being awake on weird times. XD

Ran a few calculations past things. I could work in each of the groups due to sheer amount of time spent online. XD Just in different breaks.

(UTC -8 would be "I'm around for a significant part of the (later half of the) day followed by most of the night, then sleep/RL".
UTC 0 would be "I'm around for the full night, then catch some hours of the (early half of the) day, sleep/RL and then possibly an hour or two before it becomes night again".
UTC +8 would be "I log on during the early half of the night, stay for the rest of the night, catch several hours of the day, then sleep/RL". What do you mean, "you're online for ridiculous amounts of time"? )

Somehow this is the first time I'm seeing Mythos' picture. It's gorgeous!

Immy: This is the info/sign-up thread for a game that will be played during the upcoming Valentine event.

To summarize the game's basics:
- People sign up (by PM. Form is somewhere on the first page), are divided in groups based on the hours they're online. A group is full when it has 15 people.
- People will be informed of which role they have in their group (This can roughly be split into "mafia" or "townsfolk/innocents", though there are a few other/special roles) in secret. They should not announce this on the forum.
- The game is split into two time-blocks--"day" (which lasts 18 hours) and "night" (which lasts 6).
- For the townsfolk, the aim of the game is to eliminate all non-townsfolk while keeping at least one townie alive. This is done by "lynching", where people vote during the day phase who they want eliminated and the person that gets most lynch-votes is killed. The biggest hindrance here is that the townies don't know who are mafia and who aren't, so they'll have to guess.
- For the mafia, the aim of the game is to outnumber the townsfolk. They do this by killing townspeople during the night phase (though they may be helped by the townies accidentally lynching some of their own. ).
- Special roles have special abilities. Won't bother explaining those in full right now, though.

There are some other details, but that's the basic gist of it.

As we're playing this as a forum-based game, a few changes were made to better suit the playing ground, alongside some other unique changes (such as the role of the Bystanders). It's a kind of game that makes better sense when you're playing it, rather than reading about it for the first time.
