Plot

You will be a freshman at Sky High, either a Hero or a Side Kick - er, I mean Hero Support. You can make anything happen in the RP, just please don't copy everything from the movie. Yes, you can have powers from the movie, but don't use characters or profiles from the movie.

So I'm going to ask everyone to submit to me a teacher profile, the class for which you'll need to teach. This will only be for as long as necessary, until we come up with an actual plot for this RP. Power: Uses the fans to create ice blades. She can make ice blades from anything, but fans give the blades momentum.

History: Shika's past is a mystery to her: her earliest memory is half-way through her sophomore year at Sky High after a horrible accident in the Mad Science lab. Apparently she had a very different power before the accident, but something jarred in her mind and her power changed completely.

Power: Instant-death upon sight and control of speed (slow only); the eye behind the patch on the left side of his face kills anyone who sees it, a rather dangerous power. So far the only person who is known to be immune to it is himself, therefore he rarely takes the patch off. He can also control the speed of others, though he can only slow people/objects down but not speed them up. The power has a certain range, usually within a 500 yard-radius, but if stretched can reach up to over 5 miles.
Class: Basic Power Control; teaches the students the basics to proper power management. Also teaches the Sidekicks on occasion since most of them tend to have weaker powers and need more help in getting started.
History: Formerly a Hero after graduating from Sky High (also from the Heroes class), he had been working to help the citizens of the city when during a fight, his eye-patch had been torn off and he therefore unfortunately killed over 100 civilians who had been watching the fight by accident instantaneously. (including the Villain who had tore the patch off) After that, he retired from crime-fighting, went back to Sky High and became a teacher instead.

History: She is one of the oldest teachers in the school and she never did really good when it came to other calsses in sky high. But she always had a A when it came to Defence and strategies class. So after she graduated she went to teaching right away and she has been there ever since. She is very calm, cool and colected but dont get her mad or else she will use your weakness agenst you in a second.

As seen above, Hershey doesnt age very rapidly due to her regenerative capabilities, so she retains a youthful look, approximate to that of a teenager.
Her hair is a sandy blond, skin a fair peach. Her work clothes consist of a white suit with various deep red hems long black stockings, white boots with red soles and heels and a red cross on her left shoulder.

Personality:
Dr. Hershey is somewhat materialistic, she loves the items that can be bought with money and loves to dress stylishly. She feels strongly that the use of power can be just as good as it can be devastating and that almost anyone can in some way be of use to medical practices. With an extensive knowledge of powers and ther effects she can always curve her knowledge based on any new power she encounters and things of positive uses for it.
Hershey has quickly lost the love of being a Hero and doing things for free. Unfortunately with the way her life was twisted by government officials, she has become a little bitter regarding healing people in her special way, though also realizes how hypocritical it is of her not to use her own powers to heal anymore. She wont let anyone challenge her regarding it either, money is money and if she hadn't followed the governments demands she would have lost countless amounts of it and jobs.
She finds also that she dislikes her current situation, having to be caretaker to a child that isnt hers, not to mention Jeina has suspicions that the girl isn't even entirely normal. Indeed no child with super powers are normal but this one feels different, almost creepy in a way.

Power:
Advanced regenerative capabilities - Hershey can take astounding amounts of physical damage and heal from them, however some damages take more time to heal from and she can be 'disabled' by removing her head. but in near proximity of her body it will begin to function again and automatically re-attach itself. The rest of her body is capable of regenerating entirely, up to and including growing replacement limbs.
Physical Empathy - A rare, strange capability, Hershey can temporarily transfer or even swap abilities between people and act as an 'anchor' so long as those abilities are switched. It causes a physical drain on herself and if she falls unconcious it will break down and fail, swapping back the abilities (however it is much slower than if she transferred/swapped them back herself), or otherwise transferrring an ability back if the transaction was only one-way. To this end she can also transfer her own regenerative abilities to an injured party so that they can heal, however this will leave her vulnerable. If Hershey is killed while doing this, it is theorized her regenerative capability will fuse with whomever she was treating at the time because theres no longer a living 'anchor' for it to return to. Similarily if two peopls abilities or a persons power has been taken, it will possibly not even return, this is believed due to the fact that the longer she holds a transfer of abilities, the slower it becomes for her to transfer abilities, plus when she is unconcious it can take greater deals of time to transfer back to its original host.
Additionally she must have physical contact to initiate the swap or transfer, but then there remains an invisible psychic link between her and the target/s once it is initiated and they can go apart from her, at which point she can recall their abilities and swap/transfer them back to their original owner.
In the same essence she can also steal an ability and pass it off, or hold onto it for her own use, but as before, only temporarily since it takes constant use of energy. Using anothers abilities must be done in moderation since this too will make her lose energy.

History: Jeina Hershey's life has been a strange one at best. A somewhat normal family and certainly an almost normal life. If it wasnt for the fact that she never got sick and survived unbelievable damage as a child. Jeina had seemed normal for a great length of time, but long after the vaccinations of being a baby, her powers developed. She would scrape her knees as a child and watch as the damage would leave and the soothing feeling of normality would swiftly return.
At a later stage in life the attacks of a villain that was bent on destroying her home city also left her family home in ruins and fully ablaze, yet when a Hero found and rescued her, evidently burned, they could see that the damages were quickly being healed over. This girl was special and she would need enrolment into Sky High whens he was old enough.
It was in yet another attack that Hershey suffered what appeared to be critical injuries, one arm totally obliterated and several punctures in her body, yet inspite of it all she continued to regenerate at inhuman speeds, her arm growing back, bone, muscle and flesh, new nerves and arteries. Her punctured lungs could breaht in a snap and even her stopped heart begant o beat again. Perfect, almost flawless regeneration.

It was during her time in Sky High that she discovered her secondary capability. She had been walking along with two friends, arms interlinked. Though when her one friend Kiara, attempted to fly as she normally would, she fell flat on her face, instead finding that she could control ice, like Hershey's other friend, Lily. It was then at the same time she touched both and their powers returned. Hershey could feel it coursing through her.
It was at a later date that she witnessed a civilian being gunned down by robbers in a bank raid. With medical skill she'd learned at Sky High not being enough she panicked as she tried ot address his injuries until she felt an energy leave her. The man she was attending to suddenly began to regenerate, wounds closing and the bullets in his body simply popping out. Within a matter of seconds he was instantly at full health, if out cold from his ordeal.

In the same way she'd learned to draw peoples powers from them and switch their places, she regained her healing capabilities. With this amazing development, Hershey became known, for a time, as the the Heroine of Medicine, "Miracle H". However in this same development came a danger to hospitals. If she could pass on her healing capabilities to sick patients, doctors would be out of a job, so the government set up a series of events to get Hershey into their employ as a personal physician to important people.
The government used time and planned circumstances to affect Hershey's point of view and perspective until the idea of being paid so well only to heal those who could afford it appealed to her. What good was healing if you couldnt get paid for it?
It was in recent months she got assigned to watching a 'special student'. Laiden with the responsibility of keeping an eye on them at all times and several treatments that would have to be administered, so long as she was being paid for it, Dr. Hershey would do it. Even if it also meant she had to participate in Sky High's teaching board, for which she applied in the same class she aced, Medical Studies.

Histrory: Ben's father was a hero, but he was killed before Ben was born. Ben grew up with his mortal mother, and when he found his power his mother submitted him to Sky High.
Personality: Despite his rugged appearence, Ben is actually a very caring person. He's willing to trust, but a person will need to prove themselves to him first. He doesn't consider people below or above him, and finds everyone on equal ground.
RP example: Ben's new school bag seemed very heavy on his back. He casually leaned against the bus stop's pole, making himself look even cooler than he already did. He was going to be fine. It was just a new highschool, that was all. It wasn't long before he heard the bus rolling to a stop and the glass doors opening with a hiss. Shrugging himself off the pole, Ben stepped onto the bus. He glanced at the driver; he seemed like any old driver. Just to make sure, Ben whispered to him, "Is this the right bus?"
The driver grunted in acknowledgment, and swumng the doors shut, forcing Ben into the bus. Ben stumbled forward a step, then straightened up, searching for a seat. There weren't many available. He saw two free seats, both next to eachother, and he swooped down on them. He wasn't exactly sure what was going to happen now, but hopefully it would be something exciting.

History: She lived in a small town with her mother and father when she found her powers. Some bullies were teasing her and she just let out a burst of uncontrolable psychic powers. She had been living with her grandmother under lock and key until she was old enough an smart enough to go to highschool, AKA Sky High.
Personality: She seems very cold on the outside, but really, she struggles to contain her powers which makes her very fragile on the inside.

Histrory: He never knew his real parents and he grew up with a motal mortal mother. She was loving and careing but when she found out he had weird powers she was freaked out a first but still loved him in the end. One day in middle school some people where picking on him and they ended up being drenched with water. Someone from Sky High saw him and told him that there was a special school for him. He was releved to find out that he wasn't the only one with weird powers and hoped to make many friends at Sky High.
Personality: He is careing and loving. He wants to help animals and people and loved the water almost as much as his mortal foster mother.
RP example: Ivan sat down in a random seat on the bus. He was scared and very happly. This was the first time that he was around people like him and it felt nice. But he couldn't get to happy or else something might happen. He looked around and smiled at all the people and hoped to spy a few friendly faces.

Character power: Poison and the ability to pass through solid objects at will. His poison varies with the effect he wants. His entire body can produce the poison from anywhere he wanted. However, he has yet to master the ability to create poisonous gas, something of which he is working on at the moment.

Histrory: For as long as he could remember, he has lived alone on the streets. He found out about his powers during the three days when he could not find food, around the age of eight, and accidentally poisoned a dog when he touched it, which he promptly dug into. Then, while running away from the angry owner and the police, he ran into a dead end, and in a state of despracy, somehow managed to melt into the wall and to the other side. He has been using his powers on and off ever since.
One day when he was doing his usual routine of poisoning his food, he was seen by a teacher from Sky High, who was retiring at the end of the year. He was given a mask, as well as a special suit, to protect others from accidentally being poisoned by him, as when he is excited or emotionally unstable, his powers become incontrollable. The teacher referred him to the school, and he was promptly accepted. He currently lives in a run-down apartment in the city when he's not in school, rented by him after scrounging the money from unsuspecting passersby.
Personality: Somewhat cocky and nasty at times, Damien does not trust people easily, due to his early life in the streets. Most of the time he prefers to keep to himself as long as no one bothers him. His policy is that if no one's going to be nice to him, why should he bother with being nice back to anyone? He owed it to no one. (except, perhaps, the old teacher who had helped him get into Sky High) He enjoys poisoning others for the fun of it; usually nothing too serious, things like causing others to vomit, turn sickly green, or other amusing effects. He believes in strength; if the person has the power, then Damien believes he or she has the right to do whatever they want. If someone opposes them and defeats them, then it's their own fault because they weren't strong enough to keep everyone at bay.

Sitting in his seat, Damien scowled at the other kids behind his mask. He was glad he had spent the time to modify it; it looked much more intimidating than before and thus kept away the girl who had been looking for a seat from sitting beside him. He didn't enjoy being too close to others, because it felt as though they were threatening him. He sighed and leaned back against his seat, waiting impatiently for the bus to take him and the lot of noisy idiots surrounding him to wherever the school was located.

Histrory: grew up in big city, one day tried to stop a friend from getting mixed up in a robery of an experimental sonic disruptor but was dragged along, in the process of the robbery the sonic disruptor was damaged, and it exploded and Chris ended up taking the brunt of the explosion. when he recovered he found he had the ability to control sonic frequencies and generate sonic frequencies at will. the next week out of recovery he was experimenting with his powers when someone from sky high saw him and recomended him going the the school.
Personality:is kind and willing to trust those who trust him and he does not judge by appearance he judges by the way people act.

Ray got mad and suddely electricity started to flow all around him. he had no idea what was going on until someone from the school saw what was going on and told him about the school.

Advanced Technopathy - The heightened understanding and telekinetic control of all things technological, typically where said technological item has circuitry, wires or other such variable parts. Additionally this has given Julianna a greater mind for the creation of new technology and she can understand lesser known technology easier aswell as discern the properties and requirements of various technological pieces. In the technopath community, Julianna has the advantage in that she can exibit total psychic control of technology at a distance or without pressing buttons and moving controls.
Negative Field - A passive ability that can be activated at will. Within range of Julianna others with super abilities lose their power. The engative field cancels out Heroic abilities and leaves those dependant on them completely vulnerable. The range of the field is currently up to five meters but can be extended with concentration. Additionally, the abilities of heros fired from afar become property-less and dissappate in some way or form. Fire would dissappear, Ice would crumble and become snow, Lightning would thin out and abruptly end and so on and so forth. Julianna is not immune to the Negative Field either and will temporarily lose her Technopathy as a result of using it.

Wears a cream sweat-top, a white cotton tube top below, dark blue denim jeans and black leather boots with what appear to be gold-plate heels and soles. Her arms are also covered in white cream gloves, the left glove fitted with a large round digital watch of sorts that shows various other details such as room temperature, elevate from sea level and other interesting items that she can swap through.
Skin is a pale peach with deep brown hair.

Personality:
Highly ponderous and curious, although she sometimes seems to lack emotion the most promiment quirk is a very curious nature. Every new little mystery or happening will have her interested. She appears completely unafraid of threatening challenges or difficult problems, everything ends up being a puzzle to be resolved, everythign has a solution and everything has an ending that can be manipulated or chosen.
Julianna is unsure of how to relate to other kids and often winds up confused at the most simple things that can be said or done as she is highly uninformed of life and the normality of the outside world. As a result of this she will often apologise in case she has accidentally upset some-one or misunderstood them, if at all making an understanding of them in the first place. She's entirely eager to learn new things all the time but does have a hidden sense of right and wrong when observing situations.

History:
Some people are born with their abilities, some get bitten by radioactive insects or beasts, others fall into vats of radioactive liquids or are otherwise affected by strange beams from space or worse, experimented on in cruel and vile ways. Perhaps the latter was the closest to this, but the cruelty and vileness was stripped from it, Julianna's very creation centered around the artificial production of a super human.
Although as an embryo she was found to have non of the properties that would later develop into super abilities, the experimentation that would ensue would more than suffice. Julianna's actual mother, Yalani, aided in the process of her creation, having offered up her already developing baby from her own womb. After recovery, she rejoined the team in carefully monitoring and testing chemicals on the embryo, no bad side-effects ever occured, afterall on their team was several genius scientists of the government.
When Julianna finally developed to a viable age for release from the testing tube her first greeting was from the entire team and her mother. As the years of experimentation and teaching went on, Julianna developed swiftly. She'd aptly named the scientists family members and quickly was becominging an intelligent speaker, but the negative results of the experimentation were starting to show. Julianna lacked certain emotions. Fear, sadness, anger, even love and happiness.
They couldnt understand how a perfectly healthy human could be so emotionally detached, but they continued their work as it did not seem to get much worse, afterall, even when she could not express emotions, she had been found to hug the scientists, face completely unchanging, and even spend much time considering how she would get her mother a present.
At the age of ten she exhibited her first ability. She touched a computer and within moments had understood not only the time it was created, but how, what its functions were, what it monitored and even what kind of information it held stored, aswell as several lesser known secrets about the man who used it, mostly embaressing ones that had the team chuckling for some time. Technopathy. They were further amazed the following day, on Yalani's birthday, when she raised a hand to a viewing screen across the room and for a while it showed static, then suddnely flickered through thousands of pictures until Julianna stopped on a digital painting of many flowers. The surprise went on further still, as with several hand motions the picture was altered and transformed until it held not only Julianna and her mother, but the entire team of scientists she had grown up around, all sat amongst the flowers.

Tragedy struck for the facility however, as a villain whom had heard of the awesome powers of a mear child wished to come take it, exploit it for his own good. The invincible man tore through the hallways and facilities until he finally came to the lab holding Julianna. She watched idly as her own mother stood defiantly against the villain but to noa vail. Julianna's mother was killed before her eyes.
Julianna showed no reaction, instead staring at the man, and as he got closer he stumbled, his steel-like skin seeming to soften, and in that instant the guards managed to fire upon him, killing him and stopping his tirade once and for all.

As for Julianna, most of the team that had created her was gone. The ones hwo remained mourned, but never could understand why Julianna would never cry. Though they knew somewhere inside, Julianna was hurt. Their studies of the security cameras allowed them to theorize abotu Julianna's new ability and so they requested the presence of others with abilities. Each time, Julianna annulled their abilities, confirming the presence of her Negative Field.
Their main concern then became how to raise her. In spite of all the time they'd spent observing her, experimenting on ehr and taking notes, no-one had ever really thought to raise her much, and with her mother gone there was no true parent to do so. So instead, at the age of sixteen she was placed under the custody of a Government hired Super, Dr Jeina Hershey, whom was then charged with sending her to Sky High and generally being Julianna's carer, while also administering medication to Julianna to keep her still-adjusting body in check. The period in which these final medical treatments would take was long enough for Julianna to go through Sky High and graduate, so it only made good sense to give her a decent education inbetween these treatments.

Character power: Her mind is a lethal weapon. Say there is a bad guy about to murder an old lady for her jar of pennies. All Zero has to do is think: I wish the sakura petals from that tree would cover him then explode. And it would happen. Or someone is dying all she would have to think is: He's not dying. He's just fine. And that person would be up and ready to save the day. The only problem? EVERY thought can potentially come true..... And she as massive ADHD. ((All characters I kill will be my OWN. It is up to the other RPer as to weather or not he/she will allow her character to become a purple hippo that is forced to sing "I'm a happy, happy, happy hippo" over and over. Or whatever else Zero may do. She CAN reverse whatever she does to another character by losing interest in what's going on. They change back but the extras I create may or may not un-die. Her powers CAN only be defeated by another person's logic. Say that she imagined herself as a ninja. She would become a ninja and have all the skills she'd imagine that a ninja has. However, someone could say, "But you're not a ninja." And her little daydream won't happen.))

History: The worlds most deadly assassin. Zero is constantly dancing a thin line between Hero and Villain. Her powers make her very difficult to beat as long as she doesn't become TOO distracted. Her ADHD makes her so unpredictable that there is no real calling card. More often than not, her killings are attributed to villains. Her past is a complete mystery.

Personality: When killing she is very cold and ruthless. When she's not killing, she is insanely hyper and friendly.

RP example: Zero was skipping along chanting Zero the Hero over and over again in her head. She figured she may as well get her silliness out now since tonight was movie night. What's so bad about movie night? Try having ADHD and the ability to make just about anything come true....

Needless to say there were several large monsters running around when she saw Cloverfield for the first time. Since the monster was rarely seen, Zero kept trying to dream up what it would look like. Everything from Godzilla, to a gigantic rainbow sock monkey ran wild in the city that night.

RP Example of Assassin Zero: It was midnight and Zero was stalking about on the roof tops. She had to assassinate a serial killer tonight. Zero imagined herself as a ninja and and silently broke into this man's place undetected. She snuck up behind him and slit his throat. His body hit the floor with a thud. This alerted the poor woman he had captured. She called out for help. Zero saw that the woman was locked up tight in a cell so she imagined that the bars weren't there and set the woman free.

"The man is dead," Zero said as she handed the woman a cell phone, "Do not go upstairs if you do not wish to see his body. Call the police."

Zero then threw a smoke boom and when the smoke cleared the woman was standing alone, staring at the spot where Zero had been.

Super Strength - (Cybernetic) His strength is magnified 5 times that of a pro wrestler. He swings the sword he carries around like a toothpick.

Blinding Speed - (Cybernetic) He moves 2-3 times faster then normal people when under normal weight. This is obviously changed when lifting something heavy, and is reduced to a fraction of it, as normal people would.

Heightened Senses - (Cybernetic) His hearing, sense of smell, and sight are far more sensitive than other people. He can hear whispers from 50 yards away clearly. He can follow scents like a dog, and his sight is sharper than others so he can see clearly further away.

Computer Stylized Memory Access and Photographic Memory - (Cybernetic) He has a higher memory storage which he can access at any time using a browser he can pull up inside his own mind. He can view any memories at any time, view either the dialogue from his own mind, what was said, or watching a video of it. He also can take pictures with his eyes and view them using his memory browser. This also allows him to zoom them. Essentially letting him see distant objects.

Swordsmanship - (I suppose its not that much of a power, but still) He is proficient with Great swords and he carries one at all times.

There are cybernetic parts hidden under his clothes and armor: Back of the legs, Shoulders, Back of the Torso, hidden behind his Hair, and the rest are inside himself.

History: Mace's father was a scientist. However, he wasn't just any normal scientist. He was a genius. But he wasn't any normal genius. He was an evil genius, Dr. Fearsome. Yes, Mace's father was a Villain. He fought heroes with his machines and mutant experiments time after time... until he had a son. He experimented on his own boy. He enhanced his natural functions using cybernetic implants which he would change out when he outgrew certain parts.

Fortunately, maintenance on Mace kept his father from fighting heroes. He had no time for that anymore, his son was his life. However, the reason for giving his son these enhancements was not explained to Mace until he became a teenager.

On his 13th birthday, Dr. Fearsome wanted Mace to enter villainy school, but Mace didn't want to, he wanted to be a hero. His father was... less than excited to put it nicely. He was furious, he was angered at Mace for 2 years, until the time he could enter hero high school... Dr. Fearsome finally gave in, and let his son attend a Hero high school.

While the reason is unknown, it is theorized that he is going to use his son to spy on the high school and to learn what heroes are trained so he can combat it more efficiently.

So, Mace is now a Freshman AND the son of a Villain... and you thought you had it rough in high school.

Personality: Mace is serious when the situation calls for it, but he is happy-go-lucky a majority of the time, and maybe a little bit mischievous, but he has a good heart and a sense of justice his father was born without.

The teacher spoke his name, and he snapped out of his daze. He wanted Mace to solve the problem he had just posed. Embarrassed, he mumbled the first thing that came to mind. The answer was wrong, and the kids around him laughed. He slammed his head on the desk. Ugh... Man...[/

Histrory: She doesn't have anyparents and is scared to death of everyone. She has no memory of anything past the age of 12. That was when someone found her and took her in. But that person wasn't prepared for what she had just taken in. One night Clair had a horrible dream and she turned into her armored cat form and destroyed that whole house, including the person. WHen she woke up she was siting on some riped up bed sheets in a destroyed house with blood on her hands. She has no idea what happend that night and knows that what ever happend was her fault. That was when Sky high found her and moved her to a perminent home at the priciples house.
Personality: She is very shy and scared to death of everyone exept for the priciple of the school. She think that she is going to kill someone and keeps to herself.
RP example: Clair sat in the back of the gym not wanting to get picked at all. The principle had siad it was time for her to go to school but she was still scared. Scared that they would hate her and that she would kill someone. She held a little teddy bear that was all sticked up in her hands. The principle had given it to her to comfort her is she was scared. She gently chewed on its ear for comfort as she waited to hear The coach call her up.

Thorn hugged herself as she had gone on the bus. She was one of the first people there, and quite frankly, she was glad. It wasn't uncommon that people stared at her long hair and pitch-black eyes. It wasn't her fault. She was born that way. But as she saw the bus progress, she became horribly nervous, and she suddenly wished she could vomit and leave.

Ben leaned his head against the glass of the bus, staring out onto the street. He glanced up as a girl with long hair walked past him to another empty seat. He wondered vaguely what power she might have.
Speaking of powers, Ben suddenly had an idea for some fun. With a sly grin, Ben stretched out his mind to the air currents. Almost immediately they repsonded, and flew under the bus. With little effort, he made the bus shoot forward like a rocket for a moment, then it slowed to it's normal speed.
The bus driver spun around with an angry glare at everyone on the bus.
"Don't you idiots know the rules yet?" He barked, "No using your powers outside of school! Understand??"
With that, the driver turned and huddled back into his seat. Ben tried desperately to bite back his laughter.

As the bus rocketed forward, Thorn let out a breath she was holding. She was scared, and if people could do that, gosh darn it she hoped she wouldn't be the weakling. now you know that's not going to be the case. her grandmother had told her that morning. everyone has powers that makes them special, and it doesn't matter any other way. she looked in her school bag and saw the thing she treasured, a picture of her mom and dad, holding a three-year-old Thorn.

Ivan was holding onto his seat from what had happend with the air. He didn't looks scared but was smileing like a idiot. He was happy that he wasn't the only one here with powers but he hardly had his powers controled. IN the distance he could hear birds talking and many other animals. He hoped that going to sky high will help him control his powers and maybe even help him find his real parents.

She missed her mom and dad, unlike most people, she knew them before they died. she saw a floating object in the distance, it looked like the school they were heading too.

Ivan smiled when he saw the school and could hardly stay in his seat. He really wanted to met other people and then above the school a raindow appeared and the smile faided away from his face. He had done that out of happyness since he would control water and that included the water in the air. But it looked cool but he looked down and then something from out of his backpack came out and jumped onto his lap. It was a squirrle and he smiled at it. "I though I told you to stay at home" he said. The squirrle smerked "yeah well I never was a good listener" he said and Ivan laughed slightly, happy to have a friend with him. All the other kids on the bus just looked a him then looked away. He knew that no one else on the bus could understand the squirrel exept for him since he could talk to animals. But here he knew that they would understand that it was his super power and wouldn't make fun of him for it

Ben stared at the floating school in awe. Was that it? It was actually in the sky? Maybe he could 'walk' to school sometimes, then. He smirked at the thought; he'd tried flying once, but the wind had buffeted him so much that he'd almost been sick. He wasn't planning on doing it again any time soon.

Ben glanced around at the other kids on the bus. He pinpointed two: a girl staring longingly at something in her bag, and a boy talking to a squirrel.

Ben's head whipped back around. He gaped at the boy as he made strange chattering noises, in unison with the little squirrel. Strange; a person who could talk to animals? Well, it wasn't something you saw every day, but it was really cool.

"hey dude there is a boy looking at you" the squrrle said as he poined to a man looking at Ivan in wonder. "really who?" Ivan chattered back and saw Ben looking at him. Ivan smiled at him happly and thought maybe we could be friends and was about to say soemthing when heard the squirrle say "he is just being a stearing at you because you just talked to me and thinks your a weirdo or maybe he thinks your cutie" Ivan growled and hit the squirrle on the head "yeah and I wouldn't care, I dont judge people they usually judge me before they get to know them" he chattered back but his courage of talking to ben died and he went out to looking out at the school.

Ben felt embarrased when Ivan glanced at him and away again, still chattering to the squirrel. Quit staring! He told himself sharply. Uncomfortable, he turned in his seat to stare at the upcoming school. They were still on the road, and he suddenly wondered how they were going to get up there. It wasn't like a bus could fly, could it?

That was when Ben saw the cliff.

Ivan stared at the cliff and fear took ahold of him. The squirrle jumped onto Ivan and climbed down his shirt in fright. "looks like we are going to die, it's been nice knowing you Ivan" the squirrle said from inside his shirt "yeah same here sam" he said to the squirrle. Then asked to no one inpiticular "if this is the bus of death then I can understand why we are headed to a cliff but if this is the bus to sky high then why in the world are we headed to a cliff. I am not in the mood to die and neither is sam" he said as he clung to his seat in terror of the cliff that was comeing towards them.

Ben nodded in silent agreement at the squirrel-boy's words. He definitely didn't want to die today. But the bus just barrled toward the cliff at an alarming speed, and Ben clutched the seat in front of him for support. Suddenly, with high-pitched zips, two seatbelts appeared from either side of his seat and wrapped themselves around his chest, and pulled him back into his seat sharply.
Winded, Ben stared around the bus to see that everyone else had strange seatbelts on too. Ben stared out of the window. No way. The bus was actually going to go over the cliff?!
It was just before the bus went flying into space that the loudspeaker came on.
"This is your driver speaking. Welcome to your first day at Sky High! I'd advise you not to leave your seat unless you have super-strong-skin, and please don't undo your seatbelts. This is Andrew, SkyBus driver for Sky High."
With a huge roar, the bus sped out into space. Everyone on the bus, including Ben, gave out a yell of surprise, shock and fear. The bus plummetted for a few hair-raising moments, then with a loud bang! two rockets at the back of the bus burst to life, and shot the vehicle (sp?) into space, towards the floating object which Ben now knew definitely was Sky High.

When the seatbelts had appeared, Damien had to resist the almost overwhelming urge to rip it off. He did not like being restricted. Knowing that it was to keep him from flying out the window didn't help. Scowling at the bus driver's words, he almost wished he did have super strong skin, just to be able to get away from the clutches of those damned straps.

"Well isn't this just great..." He muttered when the rockets appeared and shoved the vehicle back into the air towards the distant building in the sky above the clouds. If only he had the power to fly, just to avoid the hassle of having to be flung into the sky violently every morning. Heights and Damien did not go along well together. He was a street rat and not a damned bat!

Ivan calmed down when he saw that the bus was flying but when he tryed to unglue himself from the seat but it was hard. That was because in his terror he had made claws out of water on his hands and had dug them into the seat. When he saw that he did that the water claws melted into the air and he was set free. But the seat now had a few holes in it but that was it. Sam the squirrle pokes his head out of his shirt and looked around "so we aren't dead" he asked softly and came out of his shirt and sat down on Ivans shoulder "no we are okay, this school just seems to like to scare us half to death." Ivan chattered back and continued to look at the school.

Thorn nearly screamed out when the straps came on. Then she heard the announcement and she forced herself to calm down. She looked out and saw they were flying. "Wow." she said, the first thing she had said aloud on the bus that day. she saw a rainbow above the school, she wondered if the staff put that there or if it was a coincidence. she didn't realise it, but she was probably the only one on the bus that felt alright with the straps on. They made her feel like someone was holding her, making her feel safe.

Sam smiled at Ivan "hey do you think others like you can talk to me?" he asked happly. Ivan shrugged "I have no idea," he chattered back and sam smiled "well I am going to go see, hey that girl looks like she might be able to" sam said and jumped over to Thron. He smiled at her and started to chatter things that Ivan could only understand and all that everyone else heard was squirrle chatter. sam was trying to say hello and that he wanted to be friends.

Thorn jumped when the squirrel landed on her lap. It started to chatter, and she wondered if it was the same squirrel that the boy in front of her owned. "Um, can you speak English?" She tried. "I-I can't talk squirrel. Hold on." She tried with all her might t telepathically say 'hi' to the squirrel.

Ivan looked back and smerked at Sam "I told you, I am the only one who can talk to you" he chattered back. Sam looked at Ivan "you never said that" he chattered and jumped back over to Ivan "well I just did" Ivan chattered then turned to the girl. "sorry abuot that, he wanted to see if others could talk to him" Ivan said as he smiled at Thron.

ok, think. He said hello. No, he said he's sorry. That means that telepathy didn't work. That' ok, just don't mention it. Smile, and say it's alright. Unfortunately, she couldn't make that come out. the boy reminded her of her brother, which died with her parents. She stiffened and looked down. come on, say hello! You want to make some friends, Grandma said that this was a new slate, you are just like everyone else.... sort of. Ask what power he has. That wouldn't come out either.

Now that the excitement was semi-over, Ben looked over at the squirrel boy. He was talking to that girl he'd noticed. He smiled at them and, hoping he wasn't interrupting their conversation, put in, "Hi! I'm Ben, what're your names?"
He waited for them to answer... at least, he hoped they would answer.

ok, just say you name. That's easy enough. If not, just wave to show you heard. You can do that, it's just one word: Thorn. She looked at the boy and managed to get out in a whisper and point at herself, "I'm Thorn."

Damien glanced at the three behind him in disinterest. While he knew of the advantages 'friends' could bring, he really couldn't be bothered with striking up one at the moment. The boy with the squirrel looked as though his power could come in handy (all the things he could get those animals to do for him! it would make his life a lot more easier), the girl called Thorn had a look as though she were constipated (or it could be she was just concentrating really hard on something), and the other boy named Ben who went over to start a conversation had powers unknown to him just yet. He wondered if he could be the one who controlled the currents of the wind to propel the bus forwards soon after the bus began to move.

Damien couldn't wait until the sorting began; he had heard from the aged teacher that Coach Boomer had a really...as in really loud voice and a tendency to be edgy when it comes to sorting newbies. But the process sounded fun. He wouldn't be able to hold up a truck, but it would be fun to poison a teacher...as long as the teacher doesn't blast him through the wall with a sonicboom or anything afterwards. He cackled softly under his breath.

Ivan smiled at Ben and Thron. "it is nice to met both of you, I am Ivan and this is Sam" he said with a smile and sam smiled. "so what are your powers?" he asked happly. He really wanted to know since he wanted to see if anyone else could control water or talk to animals "well as you can see I can talk to animals and I can also control water a little bit."
