As you may have noticed, we've been gifted with a new hair color system that allows us to do two tone hair! I decided to start this thread so you can show off our best color combos!
Here, you'll find a quick tutorial on how to play with the color wheels to design crazy new hair colors. In the works is a list of Classic hair colors such a blonde and some of your old Mene favorites. There will also be a list of some of my favorite hair combinations. We'll also show off the awesome color combinations that you've come up with, so get posting. Show us what you've got. Just warn us if we need sunglasses ok?

So you want to know how to work this crazy thing? Allow me to be your Guide on this journey into the wonderful world of Hair Colors!
This is the screen that you will see when you click on hair options.
What we have here is a color wheel, a highlight/secondary color option (that will open another color wheel) and a drop down list of preset colors also known as the Oldschool Mene hair colors. Below that, you have your hairstyles.
To start off, let's look at the simplest way to change your hair color. That would be the drop down menu of Preset Colors.
To use the Preset Colors to their best effect, pick your prefered color and save. Now you're done. Yay!
If you're feeling a little bolder, then please allow me to introduce you to your new best friend, the color wheel! You can create ANY color you want with the color wheel.
You'll notice it has two circles on it.
#1 Controls your color and #2 controls your shade.
If you want bright pink hair, drag #1 around the circle to pink. Drag #2 around the square to get different shades. Brighter shades will be in the middle/left. More muted shades to the right. Light is up, while dark is down.
Here's a quick video of the color wheel and drop down bars in action. Watching this might help everything make more sense.
When you first click on hair, there will be only one color wheel.
This wheel controls your basic hair color. As you can see, any color you chose will be the base color and the highlight color will be a lighter color. But that can be rather boring.
If you click the Highlight/Secondary Color box, then you open a second color wheel!
Notice how the second color is on black. If you want an actual highlight, drag wheel #2 to a lighter color. White is always a good choice, but you can experiment. Here I added some pink to my yellow for Strawberry Lemonade hair!
Congratulations, you now know how to make hair colors! It's really as simple as that. You drag the two wheels around to make colors and then you save it! Remember, each hair style is shaded differently, so your colors may vary from hair style to hair style even with the same exact colors. You should experiment to find that perfect shade.
Those number and letter strings in the box with the # in front are called Hexadecimal color codes. If you have a hexadecimal code, you can enter it into that box and your color will pop up. It's best if you keep a list of your favorite color combinations so you can re-create them later on.
Helpful Tips and Tricks
- You can also use your hexademical colors as font colors. Match all of your posts to your hair if you want to!
- Brown is just a darker shade of orange. Lighter shades of orange may also give a better shade of blond than yellow.
- Try a light base color with a dark highlight for a different effect.

Here's various lists of colors to get you certain looks. Don't forget, shading on each hair style is different, so the same colors might get you a different effect on a different style. But you can easily tweak them, so have fun!

Oldschool Hair Colors
Note: These colors were taken from the old Menewsha Avatar Creator. This is only the Base Color. You'll have to experiment on the highlights on your own time. Copy and paste the number into the Hair Color box. Some of the presets match up with these colors, some don't, so I am including them for you to play with.
Show us a picture of your best creations. Tell us the color codes you used to create them. We really want to know! :D
Just copy and paste this handy form filling in YOUR information in the appropriate place.

If your hair color matches a specific item, be sure to let me go. I don't know all the items very well, so I might miss it. I'll try to put as many Item matched colors as I can in the color post.

Yay! That's a cute one Zeap :D And yes, I'm just making a banner now and gonna set up a color list in some of the reserve spots. I don't usually reserve spots so I have no idea how many I should use
Yeah, do a poll~! (example)
What hair color do you like best?
Purple! - page 4
Blonde! - page 6
etcetera~
How many options are available in a poll? o.o
I can find some other online polling service and use it as long as others don't mind an external link, or just keep a running tally :D After all, you get gold for posting, but not for voting.
I found a pretty green shade ^^ Shame I screenshotted it in Paint and borked the image quality though ><
I'm getting the hang of getting the hightlight to look right and give the hair some shine now :D
Cookie you might want to add something somewhere that mentions that different styles will look different in the same palette. Because the various hair styles were pixelled by at least 5 different people so they're not all going to give the same end result
