Hello peeps - you may have noticed we've been somewhat erratic re: getting the picks done on time. Since half the Admin team is on leave right now, we're going to switch to two picks per week for a while.

Great outfit - I like the mix of colors. The addition of feathers give it a phoenix-like vibe that I find interesting: since we normally expect "fiery" colors in most artistic depictions, white is unexpected. Yet, as a symbol of purity, it fits perfectly - she's kind of caught mid-transformation. No idea if this was intentional or just in my wandering mind, but I like it. :)

Also, It's hot as hell where I live, so I'm feelin' the little cheek tattoo as a "when will this end?" tear. Lol.

I usually have some sort of celestial theme to my avvie...or try to. They usually focus on the moon or stars and nighttime. This time I wanted to try something different, so I chose sunny daytime and fiery colors. She originally had a pudao. It made me think of a phoenix/sun warrior.
It's been hot here too lately - so that when will it end comment made me laugh!

As far as the rest of the staff, RL has sucked up most of us. We are all here but it's hit or miss lately. We have not decided to do away with a CI. This month unfortunately RL proved to be a little too demanding of time. There is something coming soon (once I'm done putting the items in to the multi and make a thumb) that I'm sure you guys will like :)

As far as events, we decided to take a break until sometime this summer. There is a user event in the works if I'm not mistaken and then we will kick it in to gear with what we have planned after that. I cannot give any dates because well... we don't know them yet :P

But jelly's ok, we're ok :)
