it's like a fun challenge to mix up the older items with the new. i've been around for ages so i've accumulated quite a bit! also, i don't think i've ever really used that merlot color before. i tend to stick to favorites mostly.

hahaha yea the face is a little lumpy. would a scarf or neck wrap thing work better maybe? i have no idea. it's so hard!

all this talk of spirited away and other miyazaki favorites gave me a hankerin'. I'mma watching spirted away! i also got some super cute sockies in the mail today (amazon makes it feel like christmas every day!) and there are 4 pairs; spirited away, howl's moving castle, my neighbor totoro, and kiki's delviery service! they are so great! Tried so many things, but these are the only things that give him an actual mouth. I could have had it as just the head, but he has an elongated face, so his chin is actually at her breasts. If I chose to cloth him and not have the invisible body then it would probably look better because I could use the white skin. But then I wouldn't have the eyes, I guess.

the necklace was one of those recolors of the old deep freeze necklaces. i bought them in all colors lol
