I had a lady tell me yesterday she would love to have me for her Mardi Gras crew, she was one of the vendors at our Renaissance Festival.
Yesterday I was an extremely colorful faerie.

aww.. Crow's awesome, happy belated new years and belated merry christmas Crowie, here's hoping your holidays where as awesome as you are.

You are all too kind. The holidays don't seem to like me very much. It wasn't quite as bad this year as it has been in previous years, but the depression was still there... along with feelings of inadequacy because of how my life is nowhere near the "life" that people are meant to have by my age (at least according to all the happy people in the adverts). At least I can go back to my living in the shadows and canoodling with critters without the world constantly remind me that I'm "doing things wrong".... ~_~;

you are NOT doing things wrong everyone is different. your perfect just the way you are.

The Crow ~ the advertisements are lies just trying to make people think they are missing out on stuff by not buying/owning a product. Don't let it get you down. Life is what we choose to make of it.
Everyone is different & that is what makes us unique, so don't let the way others judge you get to you. If you enjoy & are happy being you then why should you listen to people telling you that you are doing it wrong.

You lot are extraordinarily kind, you know that? I'm serious. I've found out the hard way that most folks out there don't give a rat's backside about anyone other than themselves and those immediate to them.

It's not so much the advertisements with my most recent hiatus from Facebook, as more of everyone putting their "best" face forward, the narrative where you see only their highs, not the lows.

I know I said this before, but I am not posting as much on Facebook like I use to.
If it wasn't for taking care of my elderly relative and trying to better myself, I would just ditch the internet. I am feeling better, it's just that I feel ignored and neglected by my real life friends.

Not a single advertisement, silly. But when one is assaulted by them ... dozens upon dozens... it eventually found a way beneath my defenses, is all.

When it turned midnight for my birthday I was with some friends doing Karaoke at a local dive bar. Another guy who was celebrating his birthday brought cake, and I hand a giant bag of gummy bears that I shared.

Slept in, and later the day of my birthday I visited a smaller subset of those folks and we enjoyed some hot tub time.

Oh wow, pretty busy then :) I like the birthday cake and gummy bear trade <3
