Sir. Spoon has returned.
And it's X-mas time, so it's necessary he create a hangout thread.

But this hangout thread is different...because every now and then, and new question will be posted. In which you must answer...(i really can't make you...I just wanted to do it.)

But other than that, let's hangout!
Make sure to bring scarfs and mittens. Frostbite's a bitch.

Hello : D

In answer to your question, no. I've never even stood on a frozen lake or anything, which would be the first step towards falling through.

Never? Oh my. Think of the adventure you're missing.
I've fallen through in shallow little areas...where I could stand up.
The scariest time was when I tried to ski across one...big mistake. I lost both my ski poles and a ski. Not to mention my dignity...several people were watching. But did they care to help? No.

Luckily no, but I have gone ice skating on a lake. It was the peer pressure! The ice was so thin, too... All of my friends kept saying: "Come on Hoa! You won't fall through!" ._.

I've never actually fallen through, but I've had a few scares.

My uncle has a small pond on his property, and we always used to ice skate on it when I was little. But since he lives out in the country, all the little forest animals would visit the pond too. The center ice would be so much thinner because the ducks and geese would swim there, giving it less time to freeze over. It was always cracking whenever we skated there, and then all the parents would scream at us to go over to the side or get off the ice.

Fun stuff...

@ â—• w â—• :. Woah...different user name, cool though. I had to copy and paste it. I love thin ice, because when you step on it, it cracks in so many places...but I think I'll give up on ponds, I might just stick to puddles.

@ Pearl:. Oh it was....they were my mother's skis. Let's just say it wasn't a happy birthday for me.

There's a small biology pond at my school and I've seen it freeze over once or twice but I doubt it'd support a frog.

=__= Man, I was like... 5. And my parents had a deep pond/fountain thingy.

And I stood on it. And I told my brother "HEY COME IN!" and he refused.

He was the smart one.

Aw! A small pond... My family was on our way home when we passed this park with a nice lake, and our friends wanted to skate. Ah! It was so cold.

I lived on a waterfront for years so the temptation was always there.

@ Knerd: Stupid Geese...they should migrate.
@ Pearl: Biology Pond? What's that?
@ Alicia: Boys are always smarter *snickers*

I've never fallen through.
But we have a lake near where we live and it froze over before, the ice was over 1ft thick and we all were skateing and sleding on it. Twas fun.

They use it in biology classes to study pond life etc. It's on the bank outside the science block.

I'm thinking of changing the question now. Ooh...the drama!

Can we answer the questions for fun? Like tell a false story if it so comes to mind? Or are you looking for short answers? o wo
(Granted I'll probably leave and never come back after a certain point because of horrible memory).

I used to always leave out Carrots for Santa's reindeer...and horribly burnt gingerbread cookies for Santa...which were suspiciously found in the garbage the next day.

For Santa-dearest-Claus... I will leave out lovely invisible cookies, only he can see them with his super vision. Man, they were hard to make. And they lack a taste to those that can't see them, so I hope I didn't burn them. Then I plan on leaving milk from a Whalecow. : D

YAY, Whalecow milk! >w<

And that is what Santa-dearest-Claus is getting from me this year. <3

Ooh... money. : D

I think it might be due to the rarity someone gets up enough courage to get near a full grown whalecow. Then milk it. D: I mean, petting is one thing, but whalecows can be violent if they think you are trying to hurt them. u__u

This year, I think that dear Santy is just going to get a couple of carrots and some soy milk. The poor guy's gonna have to lose some weight to make it down my chimney.

Besides, all the rest of the good food will already be in my tummy. =)
