Oh wow. My boss gave the office Monday and Tuesday off. I'm back in the office today.

Lucky. Several of us don't have classes but still have to show. I teach two classes this afternoon but looking at a long morning. Will probably watch more episodes of anime. Working on Clannad right now and planning to watch Fate Stay Night after that.

Both are great anime. I am trying to find a new anime to watch. I'm planning on staying at home this weekend recovering from my cold.

Colds are no fun. Have you seen Fairy Tail? After a few episodes of that, it is hard to not be a fan.

Awesome! What do you think so far? The characters develop a depth to them as you watch the show, learn their history, and see them improve their abilities. Everyone has a story... including the crazy girl who drinks a barrel of alcohol ;)

I watched up to Episode 5 last night. I fell asleep early last night (most likely because i'm on my period). It's great! I agree with you on the character development. The story line is good and I can't wait to watch more episodes later tonight.

they are :) I like them a lot. I wish I could have Erza's swords or Cana's cards... but haven't seen those...

you are most certainly welcome... I wish I could express how amazing the show it... the plot isn't slow, the characters are each unique instead of having their personalities mesh together, it is comical but still has the suspense and action....

The animation itself is beautiful. Especially during the battle scenes. It's very clear and detailed.

That's true as well. No character is perfect.

Most anime shows don't show that though... people lose and then they win with no obvious reason why except that they weren't strong enough but now they are. In Fairy Tail, things make sense. And Erza is the strategist. She can figure out how to beat someone after watching how they use their strengths.

I just realized that it is an ongoing series and that there are currently 163 episodes out.

It is amazing! About episode 140, it slows down and sucks for about ten episodes because they deviate from the manga while waiting for the manga to get ahead again... but it is back to sweet awesomeness again ^_^

I have a long way to go then. More the better I say!

It is true. I enjoyed watching several episodes a day for quite awhile when I first started. Then suddenly one day I caught up and had to wait a week for the next episode. I was so devastated and impatient. Then I realized what a gift it was. Now every weekend I have that one treat to look forward to.
