Well, she's a top notch Defense Attorney and you better believe it. She has yet to lose a case and she isn't planning on doing so any time soon. Not only is her job amazing, she's just been recently engaged to Mr. Top Bachelor. Yes, the son of a senator who is drowning in money, and isn't exactly bad looking. Bio: Only three people know what his first name really is, and if anyone calls him by that name, he'll kill them. Adam was always the rebelious type, and always did exactly what he wanted to do. When he wasn't with his friends, he had a new girl for every day of the week. Yeah, it was a good life until he was seperated from his friends. Never really the scholarly type, Adam didn't even attempt to get into college. He didn't really have the grades for it anyway. Instead, he simply just did random jobs to get paid. He does whatever he has to do to get by, and that's just fine for him. He has never really cared for finery. Personality? Devilish, charming, reckless, and maybe a little insane. Good or bad thing? No one's exactly sure.

Samantha stood in her room getting ready for the wedding for her old best friend's uncle. But she had been told it was for her own uncles , she had not relized it was a lie and she was still clueless. This was the first time Samantha had been forced to wear a dress. You could say she was a tomboy and hated dresses. But anyways , Samantha slipped on a strapless , silky , red dress. She couldnt help to wonder about her old best friends back before collage. The only friends she did have. Samantha sighed , she really missed them a ton. She had never missed something or someone so much. Even thought she was suppose to grow up she still had a bit of a child inside her. Samantha slipped on a pair on black high-heels that fit her feet perfectly. She grabbed her red purse and walked out the front door and locked it. Samantha slid into her black sports car and she started the car up and started driving down to the church.

Chris stood in front of a mirrow with a tuxedo on. He was getting ready to go to his uncles wedding , not knowing Samantha was invited too. Chris had shined his shoes with shoe polish the night before and they were now right in front of him , ready for him to put of his feet. He forced his foot into the shoe and forced his other foot into his other shoe. Chris grabbed a tie but he changed his mind quickly and put the tie away again. Chris walked out of his house and he locked the door and he got into his Jeep Cheroke and started it up and began to drive down the chruch.

Natalie looked out the window absentmindedly as her fiancee, Daniel drove. She had always had a horrible sense of direction and she was glad that Daniel had suggested that he should drive. She looked down at the clock inside the car and sighed. They still had another half hour before they reached the church. It seemed like the drive was taking forever. They had hardly spoken at all and the fact made her want to roll her eyes. Daniel didn't like to be interrupted when he was concentrating.

Her brown eyes slowly started to close. She was so bored just watching the other cars go by and the occasional a little less than boring scenery. She curled her hair around her finger, and closed her eyes. She decided to just keep her hair down for the wedding. She had been having a bad hair day this morning, and the best she could do was curl it quickly before leaving. Before she knew it, she had drifted off to sleep.

A hand shaking her woke her up. She wondered how long she had been out. She rubbed at her eyes, and looked over at Daniel. He didn't say anything, but brushed her hair behind her ear and gently kissed her forehead. She smiled and looked down at the clock. They were early of course. There was never a time when they were late or even on time. She climbed out of the car, and grabbed her satin blue purse which matched her knee length, yet respective dress. She allowed Daniel to take a hold of her hand and she walked into the church.

Absentmindedly, she looked down at the ring on her finger. Her eyes traveled to him and then back at her ring again. She shook her head at some thoughts she was having. She was just thinking too pesimistically. She should just enjoy this wedding. It wasn't too often that she had free time with her job always coming first. And she never really had any time to herself now that she was engaged. It seemed all she did now was cases and planning for a wedding that was a year away.


Adam cursed as he looked down at the clock in his car. He was running late. At this point, he would miss the wedding and only make the reception. Of course, that was his fault. He was never one who was on time. In fact, the last time he was on time was when Natalie was around. She was always on top of everything, and early. He rolled his eyes. There was just more to life than that. Still, he didn't want to be that late and have everyone look at him funny. He wasn't exactly a high and mighty person.

He ran a hand through his blonde hair as the traffic came to a standstill. He cursed under his breath, and shook his head, trying to calm down. It was frustrating because he was actually trying to get somewhere relatively on time, which was odd for him. A few minutes later, the cars started moving again and he was able to get a move on it. He turned up the radio as a song he liked came on. It was rare that a good song came on, at least according to him. He always said that he missed the old days when there was still some good music. When thinking such a thing, he would laugh at himself, thinking that he was acting like an old geezer.

A half an hour later, he was still a distance away from the Chuch. He suddenly grinned and stepped on the pedal, driving up the shoulder. Why wait in traffic when he could do something illegal, not get caught, and still get to the wedding on time? His grin grew as he started passing all the cars, feeling a rush because he was doing something completely and utterly stupid. Surprisingly enough, he didn't see any cops. That took away from the fun a bit. It was always more fun if you could get caught.

On record time, he reached the church. He laughed as his car skid into a parking spot. It used to be beat up, but his friend fixed it up for him, giving it an amazing engine. He got out of the car, and looked down at himself. His tux was all wrinkled, and he tried to smooth it out the best he could. He shook his head, still feeling giddy from the ride and jauntily walked into the church. The wedding would be boring, but he figured the ride would make up for it.

Samantha put her black sports car in park and she climbed out of the car. She had made it in time but barely. As soon as she got out she took off her high-heel's and she started to make a run for the church. She didnt run very well in high-heels but she was pretty fast on bare-foot. Soon , Samantha was in the front of the door to the church and she put her high-heels down and slipped her feet into them. She opened the door to the church and she didnt even bother to look around at everyone which was what she use to do. Samantha sat down in the 5th row on the right side.

Chris got there 5 minutes before Samantha did and he was currently sitting in the 7th row on the left side , he didnt see Samantha even thought she was not hard to miss. Her black hair and lack of curves as Chris teased her one day. Samantha had punched him in the gut and he never called her anything again. Chris waited impatiently for the wedding to start. It was for HIS uncle but Samantha had thought it was her uncle , Chris didnt know that his uncle had invited his old friends.

Natalie had already taken a seat in the sixth row. She bit her lip and waited for the wedding to start. Really, she didn't know who it was for. Her mother, who had basically ran her social life since she was a kid, told her to go. Natalie wasn't one to argue and really, she wanted a chance to have a day off. As much as her work meant to her, relaxing was something she never got to do. She looked around the church while she waited, and her mouth dropped open when she spotted one of her old friends. Adam was easy to spot out, not just because he was late, but he looked pretty much the same. He was sitting a few rows behind her, and she wanted to laugh from the joy of seeing her friend again. She bit her lip and turned around once the music started. She was being rude, but she promised herself she would speak to him once the ceremony was over.


Adam was the last person to enter the church, and snuck in, sitting in the last row. The people who were already in the pew glared at him as if he were rain on a sunny day. He rolled his eyes, and looked away from them. He was used to getting looks like that and really, he didn't care about what everyone else thought. As long as he was fine with who he was, life was good. And really, he had an ego the size of Russia, so he didn't need anyone to tell him he was great. He frowned a bit when the music started. He just knew he would fall asleep from the boredom. He didn't even know who the groom or bride was, but he had nothing to do back home, and hey, the meal options looked good. Plus, he figured he could pick up a chick or two and life would be good for the day. Excitement was what he lived for, and he was hoping this wedding wouldn't disappoint him.

Samantha finally took the effort to scan the church to see who was there. She easily spotted Chris. Her mouth fell open and she said under her breath "Oh shit." and then she covered her mouth and felt like hitting herself. She had just cussed in a church. Now God must really hate her. Samantha swallowed hard and she turned forward. She didnt want to look around the church anymore.

Chris sat up and he looked straight ahead and watched the bride come up the isisle , it was his really-soon-to-be-aunt-in-law. Chris looked at his uncle who was at the main front and he seen the happy look on his face. Chris sighed as he leaned back and watched the bride finally make it to the front of the church. Chris almost fell asleep but soon the bride and groom kissed. Chris almost clapped with joy that it was finally over.

Natalie kept a smile on her face the entire time, but really, she couldn't even hear what was going on. An elderly woman who sat in the row in front of her had fallen asleep and snored the entire time. Natalie rolled her eyes slightly, but clapped when the couple walked down the aisle and out of the church. People started filing out to watch them leave. She saw Adam, but she wasn't able to get to him with all the people that were around. She let out a soft sigh of frustration and waited impatiently for people to move.


Adam was just about to fall asleep when he caught glimpse of a better than average looking girl. She sent him a grin, and Adam returned it. Oh yes, he could see that this would definitely be worth it. A few minutes later, the couple walked out of the church, and everyone stood up. The people who had been sitting in the same pew as him mumbled under their breath as they passed him. All right, so he flirted in a church. No big deal. He shook his head as he waited for everyone to file out.

Samantha was one of the first people out of there and she was in shock that she didnt care if someone had lied to her. She took off her high-heels as soon as she got outside and sat on the steps as soon as everyone watched the couple to leave , she almost got stepped on but she didnt care the high-heels were killing her , she almost threw them at someone. Samantha sighed and she rubbed her feet , they were hurting from walking in high-heels and she was really mad at the moment. But also happy that she had seen Chris , she just hoped it wasnt a mistake.

Chris watched the couple leave and he seen a girl sitting on the steps , he thought she looked pretty cute from where he was at. But Chris didnt relize it was his old friend Samantha. Chris walked behind Samantha and he smiled "What a matter? Whats a hot girl like you alone like this for?" he asked.

Samantha turned to look at Chris and she almost freaked "Um...dude...its me." was all she could say and she felt like hitting herself again.


Chris almost chocked "SAMANTHA?!?!" he said in a very shocked voice , he had not known she would be here and he felt like he couldnt breathe for a moment. He thought she had turned into a hot chick but he wasnt about to flirt with Samantha , they practically knew each other scince diaper time. Chris only stared at her like it was unbeliveable , which it was.

Natalie eventually made it outside, though she had had to drag Daniel the whole way. She smiled once she was outside and away from the mob of people and the pandamonium. She finally caught sight of Adam, and her smile grew. She let go of Daniel's hand and ran up to Adam, hugging him tightly. "It's been so long!" she exclaimed, clining to him.

Adam was shocked by the sudden attack. He looked down at the woman who was hugging him, though he hardly recognized her till he heard her voice. He laughed, and hugged her back, ruffling her hair affectionately. "Natalie...I didn't think I'd see you again..." he muttered, grinning down her. It was amazing...He had been given the chance to see one of his best friends again.

"This is so great! I missed you so much..." She smiled, feeling happier than she had felt in the longest time. "If only Samantha and Chris were..." she trailed off as she spotted them. Her mouth dropped open and she grabbed onto Adam's hand, pulling him over to Chris and Samantha. She attacked Chris first, hugging him tightly.

Adam was shocked to see his other two best friends. He chuckled as he watched Chris get hugged to death by Natalie. He looked at Samantha and grinned. He was never really the hugging type. At least, he never started a hug. "Wow...Samantha...Long time no see...Still, you look almost exactly the same..." He smirked. "What have you been up to?"

Samantha was really surprised now but she smiled "Well Well , if it isnt dear ole Adam...Well I have been working as a mechanic...not a very girly job huh?" she said "I suppose it fits me. You know how I've never been the girly type. Now I've been caught wearing a dress...its a shame...What have you been doing? " she said and then she stood up "And if it isnt Natalie..." she said and smiled.

Chris was surprised as well but he hugged Natalie back "Wow. Natalie. Its been a long time..." was all he could say. He was still in shock. His 3 best friends here made everything so much better. After the big hug Chris patted Natalie on the back and pulled apart and then he looked at Adam and Samantha "Nobody's really changed...except you Samantha... you've got curves now..." he said and kinda laughed when Samantha punched him in the shoulder , but it wasnt a hard punch. A friendly punch.

Adam smirked. "Always the tomboy, huh? Well, I guess I'd be freaked out if you were suddenly wearing bright pink dresses and the like. That would just be plain odd, now wouldn't it?" He looked her up and down, raising an eyebrow. "You are a sight to behold, that's for sure. I didn't think I'd ever see you in a dress. Not even Natalie could get you to wear one...And you actually don't look too bad in it. Kind of...cute actually," he teased, grinning down at her. "You look like a girl! Isn't it great?" he asked, just trying to get on her nerves a bit. She really didn't change that much. In fact, really, none of his friends had changed drastically, and he considered that a good thing. It was good just to simply see them again, but it was even better to know his friends were still the great people they were before.


"Hi!" she said excitedly, and gave Sam a hug as well. "You look so beautiful! I always knew that you would look great in a dress!" she gushed. Natalie finally realized that she had left Daniel standing alone. She looked over at him, noticing how awkward he looked, which was odd for her because he never really looked awkward before. She left her friends for a moment, only to grab a hold of her finacee's arm. She led him over to her friends and smiled at him. "Guys, this is my fiancee, Daniel," she said as her smile grew. Daniel waved to them, keeping a pefect smile on his face. Only Natalie would be able to tell that he was slightly disappointed. He was used to being around more important figures and she could tell that he wasn't happy already with her choice of friends.

Samantha groaned and she scratched her head and she almost hooted out him laughter when he said something about her wearing bright pink dresses "As if I would EVER wear a pink dress..." she said and this time she really did start laughing "Oh my god...you cannot be serious.... me look like a girl?!?! Oh never never!" she said after laughing "Really , Adam , or should I say Gerald they should put you on a comedy show..." she said and she didnt belive he would hurt her. Samantha could beat him up before he could even began to hit her. Samantha smiled and before he could react she turned toward Daniel and smiled "Why , Hello..." she said.

Chris turned toward Daniel and smiled "Hey there." he said simply.

Adam's eyes narrowed when he heard his first name. "You're lucky you're a girl," he muttered darkly. He had morals and he wouldn't hit her, but that didn't mean he wasn't irate. Just what parents would torture their hcild with a name like Gerald? That's just plain cruel...There was simply no other reason other than his parents had quite a cruel sense of humor. All his friends had normnames and he had this hideous one. He hadn't been called Gerald in the longest time, and it was not just irritating but also odd to hear it again. The only people he would let call him Gerald would be his parents and he hadn't spoken to them in the longest time. "Hello..." he muttered to Daniel, still feeling mad about being called by his first name.

Natalie laughed and shook her head at Samantha. Really, it was just a surprise that she was in a dress. Natalie doubted that Samantha would ever be a girly girl. She was too much of a tomboy for that. Besides, she liked having a friend like Samantha. They were complete opposites, but they always got along very well. And Adam...he was another story. It was odd hearing him be called Gerald, and the name itself got a chuckle from her. She looked over at Daniel, and then back at her friends. She wondered if after meeting them again if they could get close again. She had missed them over the years and it would be nice to have her own group of friends back again. She didn't really have the time now to socialize much on a personal level besides with Daniel and even then they rarely had time together.

Samantha smiled and she rolled her eyes "Gee Adam its ok... it was just a joke..." she said and then she smiled at Natalie , Natalie had always tryed to get her to wear a dress and here she was... in a strapless red dress. She had been one of the odd one's in the group of her friends , she was a tomboy and very athletic. She played basketball in highschool and collage. She hadnt really got great grades , she had just gone to collage for the sports. Samantha had a regular dating life but she usaully got dates cause she was a tough girl and it was that guy's liked tough girls. Turned out , Samantha hadnt liked any of the guys who had asked her out. Natalie was nice to have around and she wouldnt change Natalie for the world.

Chris kind of laughed when he heard Samantha call Adam by his first name , for he knew it was joke and it was like Samantha to do something like that , and it was like Adam to tease Samantha. Chris really thought Adam and Samantha would be a good couple one day but he knew Samantha would deny it if he said something like that to her , and she might even hit him. That was Samantha for you. Samantha also had a very bad temper so people really made a mistake to talk about her behind her back. Chris began to wonder if he should suggest that they all do something that night but it would be kinda childish so he kept quiet.
