Bio: fairly young for a vampire Joey is obsessed with staying 'young,hip and cool' so whilst keeping a small time class collecting job puts out an application for a new room mate, he had a few must haves, must be female, must be nice, must smell delicious.

Sara knocked on the door and was feeling nervous. She didn't know the person who had the chance of being her roommate and hoped they got along today. She was desperate to find a place that she could afford and didn't want to look in the shady parts of town.

Joey could hear a little hammering heart beat before a gentle knock on the door he put the irregularilly fast heart beat down to nerves he opened the door and smiled as warmly as he could " Sara isn't it? Hi I'm joey" he lets her inside and starts showing her around the flat. "It's not much here but that's why I don't charge much here" he laughed a little nervous he didn't know wht it was about her but even he felt a little nervous about having a new person to live with. The balance between drinking from someone and killing them was difficult. " do you have any questions?" He asked concludin the tour in the kitchen.

"It's nice it meet you Joey. I have some. What times are you at work? My work schedule is a bit strange at the moment. Sometimes I'll be working nights and others I'll be working two shifts. " Sara said. She worked at a factory at the moment and was trying hard to get a job as an accountant. But there seemed to be a low demand for them at the moment. She loved this place very much and hoped this would work out.

Joey smiled at her, she was so adorable and sweet. He found it hard to believe that she was in her twenties. "I work nights, usually five of the seven until around two or three in the morning, so i wont wake up till the afternoon quite often." He turned the kettle on, "Tea, coffee?" he asked politely getting two mugs out of the cupboard.

" Coffee please. I promise to be quiet while you sleep. I like to listen to music , but I'll keep my head phones on." Sara said. She never liked hearing loud music when she was trying to get some rest." Do you like to cook?" Sara asked, hoping he did. Cooking seemed to be the only thing she was doing right lately.

"Oh I sleep like the dead!" He laughed a this own stupid joke, he made her a coffee. He didn't know how to cook it wasn't thathe didn't like food, he did, he found the blood diet boring he wasnt a hardcore only pureblood drinker. " actually I'm a terrible cook" he Admitted, "You'll have to show me your culinary skills sometime!" He said eagerly.

Sara laughed at the joke. " I'll gladly teach you. Are you allergic to anything?" She asked. She didn't want to make something that would make her roommate sick. "About rent, I can pay the $250 you are asking for. " Sara said. Things would be tight for a while until she could get a better job.

He shook his head "I'm allergic to healthy food?" He suggested with a grin. Joey leant over and flicked the cupboard open it was filled with convenience junk food but luckily for him it hadn't affected his physique. He knew it would catch up with him later in life. He frowned " is the rent okay for you?"

" I can change that. I like to make casseroles and hope you don't mind that. I have a chili and cornbread pie recipe that's good. Rent is good. Things will be tight anyways , since I need to pay off my loans. " Sara said. She hated it that college cost so much but she had done her best to only take out what she needed.

Joey smilled happily, "I love home cooked food!" It was true, a couple of years ago he shared a house with a couple and they always let him help himself to their home cooked leftovers. Unfortunatly they 'disappeared' after he came off a detox. Apparently he can't go more than four months without blood. He knew that if money got tight he would be able to persuade her into allowing him to drink from her as part payment. But humans could be so fickle about giving over a couple of pints of blood to him, they didn't need it and he needed it, it was basically donating to the needy!

" I'm had you do. Though sometimes I get lazy and order pizza. " Sara admitted with a embarrassed smile. " So how soon can I move in?"She asked hoping it was soon.

"Ooh shame on you!" he said in a rather soft tone. "Erh, as soon as you like really I've been ready for a few weeks now, your room is all cleared and I have the contract ina drawer for you to sign, I mean if you really wanted to you could move in now. Immediatly. If... you know, you really like it here."

" Sounds good. I have all my things packed and ready. I just need to call the moving company." Sara said with a grin on her face. She had a feeling this was all going to work out.

Joey nodded, "You have a lot of stuff?" he asked, "Cause if it snot too much, well, I dont mind helping out." He said, offering a hand.

" Not too much. I have about 15 boxes and its all clothes and books. I also have a bed and some bedroom furniture. But that can wait for later. " Sara said glad that she had an inflatable mattress.

Joey shifted on the spot, he didn't want to sound like he was rushing her, "I can help you out with that! It would save you a tonne of money!"

" Thank you so much! I have a truck so that will make moving much better." Sara said. She hoped everything would fit in the small truck she owned.

"Oh thats useful!" He said happily, "SO when do you want to move out? I'm free this week really anytime." He said hoping she'd say today because he didn't want to be alone in the flat any longer.

" How about today? We'll need to stop at the store for some food, since I feel I should thank you for your kindness. " Sara said. She was happy Joey was as excited as she was and hoped this would all work out. There was something different about him, but she didn't know exactly what it was that bothered her.

He grinned with excitement "yeah let's go get your stuff now it won't take too long" he took his keys to lock the door. "You'll have to show me the way becuse I do t know." He admitted. He knew what he had just started- an obsession and an unhealthy one too. Joey was one of those people who was very suseptable to a strong addiction.

" All right. I did drive here. I don't trust the streets in my old neighbor hood. My friends say that people get kidnapped and terrible things happen to them. " Sara shuddered and hoped that this move was the right thing to do.

Joey looked at her wide eyed, "Wow, people are so cruel." He said without much of a thought, humans were like any other animals, cattle, pigs, chickens, sometimes they disappeared sometimes they were hunted, it was all survival of the fittest. He went to her car and got in with her.

Sara drove across town to her almost old apartment." Here we are. My apartment is on the second floor." She said in an excited tone. She knew in a few hours she would finally be where she really wanted to be,
