Sometimes I'm a brat and call the pokemon I know different things just to get my daughter to roll her eyes. XD

I had a friend whose little sister called Rayquaza "Mugglewhump."

I give my pokemon realistic names, such as Ryan or Tyler. I find the game to be much funnier that way. You'd expect a pokemon to have a really cool nickname and then it's just called... "Samantha".

I usually don't name mine.

My boyfriend doesn't like naming them either. Mostly because he won't remember their names otherwise.

I was sirened away by Hummys super fast thread when trying to make the reduced rate tokens back. Even I found it difficult to collect everything. I really like to give stuff randomly to newbies I notice being active to encourage them to stay the most. :)

Yeah very true. We only get the rare one now and again.
I was thinking of opening a newbie charity as well. Specifically for newbies only. And making my presence more known in the newbie forum.

I like naming pokemon with stupid names, just in case I decide to send them over WT. :P But I typically never use it. Sucks to hear that there are a lot with offensive and rude names rolling about, though. :C

I forgot about Pokerus! I wonder if I can get lucky enough to get one with it, in trade or the wild.

Getting a pokemon with Pokerus is apparently even rarer than finding a shiny. The scraggy I got that has it is level 20 and is currently just hanging out in my bank. :U

Yeah, that's what I've read.

And yet, four of the five pokemon in my party wound up with it the same day I decided to load the game back up and catch some lower level pokemon for the Wonder Trade. I think one of the ones I traded off had it and gave it to mine before I sent it off in a trade. Dx I'm all for getting it but it wound up on the ones I use the most.

I've never actually encountered Pokerus.

This, I believe, is the first time I ever got it.

The strangest thing happened! Despite me having my Scraggy in the bank, my other pokemon in my party got pokerus from the wild! How weird. :P

I got a level 100 charizard via WT with pokerus it infected my whole party xD.

My sons godfather got a shiny torchic yesterday and a shiny eevee the day before.
I hate him xD
