I can't train myself to use the brackets instead of colons either, I have to edit my post most of the time. Silly me!

The brackets throw me off too. >.< For some reason I always get the first bracket right but then go back to the colon at the end of it the emote. xD

Didn't the staff have some rough times this year? Even CIs slipped off schedule!

Their Paypal problems sure didn't help any either!

I always put the old codes - like for - it used to be :talk2hand:
I know it's now, but it's so awkward!
I always go advanced if I need to use emotes and just sort through the list - it's easier than using brackets and trying to figure out the new coding :(

I wish it were in the quick post thing at the bottom of the thread though instead of only in the advanced. It's so annoying to go into advanced just to find a smiley xD;
Then again, it's easier than trying to remember the new coding and the brackets, so I guess it's a catch 22 ^_^;

Yeah - financially there's been some problems - that's why we have events like this now - with just currency - no spectacular interactive coding where you have the background and entire theme changed while in the event, no click-able event currency gathering, no giving your currency to other people through clicking - you just simply get it from posting and that's it :3
But eh, it works lol

And CIs slipped off schedule because paypal caused a huge issue - I don't know the details, but basically they locked the account, then when they finally unlocked it, they gave a limit on the account - they're just being a pain in the arse to be honest lol

But yeah - a lot of events have slipped off the radar because Mene can't afford to pay pixel artists to make the items and such :(

See, I never see any of their announcements. I don't get why they don't do a pop up when you get on telling when announcements are posted like they do when it's "important".
I never see a single one of their announcements unless it's by chance or I'm specifically looking for one :/
