Happy Easter everyone (belated but even still..)

So I was wondering, do any of you have a favorite easter type candy?

Some real life friends of mine and I were talking about that the other day.

Peeps seemed to be the all around favorite and they're mine too.

We don't have 'Easter candy' unfortunately where I am.
Just chocolate xD
It's rather sad really. Chocolate chocolate chocolate.

Although it would be nice to try something new.

Easter candy? I don't think we have that here.. but there's the occassional chocolate bunny my parents buy.. I hardly eat that though.. Hmm... ah! those eggs! They're real eggs...but they're just decorated or painted on... and for some reason, they seem more appetizing. heh.

I'm still not sure if that's considered a candy though. X333

We don't have much Easter candies here from where I live. Nor practice getting candies for Easter. Some stores do sell and I remember getting Easter egg shaped candies when I was still a kid.

oh wait! Now that General mentioned Egg-shaped candies...My father did bring some of those when I was a kid.. they were hollow and made entirely out of thick icing. Or at least I think it's icing. (dichromaticbeagle does not know squat about cakes or pastries as well as their ingredients.) >w<;;;;;;

I think it was some kind of hardened icing. I am not so sure though. That was a long long time ago. Late 80's . hehehe...

And it had candies inside. Not sure.

My favorites are the chocolate eggs, not candies. xDD;; Chocolate eggs are always the best, if you ask me, since chocolate is just... yeah. You get what I mean. <3<3

Out here, especially at my college, for easter they do egg hunts and such for the kids where they fill plastic eggs with candies and stickers.

usually things like jelly beans, cadbury cream eggs (and other egg shaped chocolate candies), peep (sugar coated mashmallows that liik like ducks or bunnies) and of course the chocolate bunny rabbit.

Hmm... I like the Cadbury easter egg stuffy. I like the ones that normal egg size with a white and yellow sugar paste in a chocolate shell. But my favourite are their mini eggs that are pure chocolate with a thin candy coating.

I'm not sure. I like a lot, but I don't like peeps. They taste so grainy. I'd rather just look at them. XD

I used to dislike the cadbury eggs when I was little. I love them now. :)

Yeah, I wasn't fond of the middles when I was a kid, but they're awesome now. I also like sweet tart jelly beans. I'd never had them before this year, but they're very very good!
Peeps are a universal favorite. I like the bunnies even better for some reason.

I think it's because the bunnies are just so cute :)

I always got the yellow chicks growing up. so now they've just become part of easter for me.

as for jelly beans, I always used to get the Jelly Belly ones growing up. More recently I like the ones by starbust.. and since I'm a bit of a nerd, my family will give me boxes of the bertie botts every flavor beans that they get from bookstore instead of jelly beans.

I don't like Peeps. At all.

I really like the Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs. And I like jelly beans a lot. I guess those would be my favorites.

Jelly Bellies are so good, well aside from a few specific flavors... I don't even consider them easter only candies anymore, although of course they are jelly beans lol. And yeah, the skittles ones are really good too. The plain, original type of jelly bean just doesn't cut it for me anymore. But I have never actually tasted the bertie botts every flavor beans from the bookstore. They look alot like jelly bellies to me. Are they?

I like "robins eggs" the special candy coated malted milk balls that look like eggs, made for easter. It's the only time during the year I let myself eat malted milk balls because they're sooo sugary and I probably would get bored by them otherwise.

I used to like Reese's peanut butter eggs, but I don't like peanut butter anymore.
