@xuvrette: Well how detailed or elaborate are you planning? I saw your Valentine outfit and I thought it was really nice. Something like that wouldn't be "too detailed" in my opinion. :) Even dresses, so long as they aren't full-on ball gowns sound okay to me.

I think for now it's better to think "What would a new user want to wear?" instead of "Is this item going to be too 'expensive'?" But maybe Jelly could chime in with a better answer.

Hm...I can see if I can whip something up if I have the time due to school. It's my shading I'm a bit shamed by is why I'm half hesitant to give it a shot.

Well, back to when I was a new user... I like uniform...

It's fun to practice though, I will admit that "fun" often translates as AURGHH!!! when things aren't working out, but lots of practice and studying really does help you to improve.


xuvrette: things really don't want to be fancy, as in uber-detailed etc, as these are "starter" items for want of a better term. They don't need to be plain and boring, straight up and down shapes, they want some style, but nothing over the top design-wise.

Siri: that's a fun shape. That's just the kind of thing that we're looking for actually, do you think you'll be able to take the shading any further?

This looks neat! I've never tried to pixel anything but my eyesight kind of stinks so little tiny things give me a HUGE headache. Still I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone does come up with :D
