The house I'm in now is the first one I've lived in that my family has actually owned. It's got it's pros and cons. Like, you can do anything you want to the walls and such without asking first. But if anything breaks you have to fix it/pay to have it fixed yourself
Although that in itself can sometimes be a good thing too because depending on the landlord, they could just do the bare minimum or not fix it at all.
You kinda still have to pay rent tho, because mortgages are a thing.

At least with mortgage it goes into making your house your own, whereas you can pay fifty years of rent and still not have the house being anywhere close to being yours.

One of the reasons why if I ever move out I want a place to call my own rather than pay rent, but that's not happening. *has nowhere near the amount of money needed*

Yeah I totally agree. Especially because in my area, rent is actually more than a mortgage payment, and thats for CRAPPY places for rent.

That's messed up.

One of these days there's going to be riots all over the world because people simply can't live on like this anymore.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if that's the case tbh.

Eh, honestly, I'm okay with renting for the time being. Not worried if I never live in a place I own.

Yeah it really irks me when older generations get on our generations for not moving out or whatever when it's like, it's literally not possible to live on your own even with a full time job. The cost of living vs income is way too out of balance for that. When my mom was working retail only just a few years ago, there was a woman in her 60's working there and she had to move back in with her parents, at 60 freaking years old, because her jobs just weren't making enough to live off of.
It's insane.

Yeah, most of the younger generation lives with their parents/family as well because it's not very possible to move out. One of my friends is working two jobs and constantly stressing herself out and her last place was basically a small room where just the bed takes up half of all the space.

Yeah exactly! It's pretty ridiculous that there's no cheaper rent for people just starting out or even just for people working minimum wageor whatever. There's no low income housing

Yeah, and they keep building more expensive houses for the rich and the poor are left with whatever scraps they can find. :\ Most of those expensive houses bought by the rich are just left there to gather dust because 'it's good investment'. :\\

Yeah, too bad money makes the majority of the world spin, so they control so many aspects of the direction the government heard towards. So no chance of them ever getting higher taxes and cutting their chances for tax evasion while the poor are stuck with taxes on their already meager savings. :\

I guess I'm glad that my pay is considered among the lowest so that I don't have to pay income tax. Then on the other hand, my pay is so low that I don't have to pay income tax...>_>

Yeah, at least it pays the bills and stuff, rather than having no job and have all the debts pile up.

And Superman, even if it's slightly off by one letter.

I wonder if he was ever made fun of for his name.

Dear gods, I hope that wasn't a name his parents gave him...

...though if he legally changed his name to that, he had to have been high or something X'D

Maybe his parents just really, really liked Batman.

lol If it was a changed name the people who were in charge of processing the request were probably all going 'Wtf?'
