Did anyone finish their 2014 challenge? I'm looking at the front page right now, and I don't remember anyone talking about how they completed it this year!

Challenge for 50, no. I set myself a challenge on GoodReads, for 40, which I hit and passed. I'm on #44 right now.

I completed my challenge! 76 out of 75 books read!

Well, I made it to 30 books for last year. Let's see how this year goes.
I might be spending more time playing WOW than reading though, lol.

I managed a grand total of 46 books for last year, finishing the last book on Wednesday afternoon. Really not sure whether I'll have time for a challenge this year or not, since I intend to go back to school, and now have a significant other with whom to spend time.

i've actually never heard of this before. it's a really neat idea though *-* i've been slacking with reading for the past .... 3 or so years but i've been meaning to get back into it.

Did anyone here read Wheel of Time??

Same here. I'll probably be back to reading my book on the way to work tomorrow. I wasn't really in the mood for reading this weekend.

I remember how I used to gobble up books when I was younger. And then I got my laptop and now my time is spent much more here than in books D:

Yeah, I used to be that way as well. Every time I went to the library I would bring two or three books at a time back with me. Then I got the GameCube and the computer and I started spending some time doing that. I eventually stopped reading when i went to college because I just didn't have time to read the books for my classes and books for pleasure at the same time. I finally have time to get back into it now though.

I got a bunch of manga and comics from the library, so those will probably be my first reads of the year. I'm working my way through Storm of Swords slowly but surely too.

I'd really like to finish reading Machine of Death this year though. It's a short story collection, so it's easy to pick up and put down, but it's been on my "currently reading" list for several years now. >_<

I've been having troubles focusing and haven't made any progress in Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy no matter how awesome I know it is.
