I do LOVE Miike Snow - not someone I listen to actively, but I always loved the Genghis Khan video/single, and tend to like his stuff as a whole. I always tell myself year after year that I'm going to become an actual Miike Snow fan and then somehow that never happens.

Shh, Howdy, stop bringing up Twink Peaks*! I never finished all of Season Two because it was sooo long. I did see the first episode of the reboot, though, which was FANTASTIC. I'll probably finish the second season and then watch the entire reboot once it's available for free someplace on the interwebnets.

There's also this great mini-documentary about the subject of the above music video, a pretty prolific photographer/artist whose work I just saw in the brand new Smithsonian African American Museum in D.C. a couple weeks ago. *Forgot to explain the Twink Peaks thing. A bunch of gay acquaintances and I started a Twin Peaks watch party about this time last year, in preparation for the new reboot. We made it to early season two before we all got too busy to keep it going, sadly, so that was a thing. I dubbed it Twink Peaks, although I was the only textbook twink of the group. D: Blah.

I was confused - there's a brand new Amazon series called Electric Dreams (based on Philip K. Dick's "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?") that just came out, and I was like... D:??? How did you see that already!?

ahaha oh no! we were talking about this really cheesy movie from the 80s about a computer coming to life, falling in love with its owner's girlfriend, and generally fucking up its owner's life. xP not related at all.
