And yeah, I didn't find out about this place until my friend told me about it on Gaia in June 2007. A few weeks later I gave all my Gaia Items away and officially quit it.
A lot of people on Gaia just think this is a lame copycat site..

New CI sets used to be 400g when I first joined, then a few months ago they were 600g, and now I don't even know what they are :0

Yeah, I agree with you that prices have gone up but I guess that's to be expected. I remember when I was able to get a new CI for 250g and a set for around 500g.

Where are you seeing chat speak? That's pretty bad. Unfortunately I make a lot of grammar errors. I try not to but it happens.

@Steve - Yeh i guess that is kinda annoying. Sometimes i do stuff like that though without realizing. But if i notice it i correct it ^^;; The thing i hate the most has to be chat speak though, or text talk. Grr that annoys me Lol.

Hello Roachi. That's really smart. I know someone else was doing that as well. I started to do that but it was kind of late in the game. It didn't occur to me to buy stuff just to sell it until after someone told me about it. I'm slow sometimes. Heh.

Oh yeh it's quite easy. When you "edit" theres another setting called "Advanced" - click that and at the bottom near where all the icons are theres an option that's ticked that says something like "display signature". Just un-tick it =]

And i don't know, i think i might just save up some gold so i can get quite a few things at once. But i like the harp & atlantis mask =].


@Kat - Still something =]. What i did was got all the items i wanted then collected about 300 tokens and went crazy on other stuff too sell xD

That's a good idea. I have the problem that once I save up enough for an item I want to go out and try to get it. I don't know if I could save for several at once. I only have two CIs left and one EI that I want to get. Then it's all commons from there.

I think you're my good luck charm Roachi. Since meeting you I've managed to find sellers for the items that I've wanted. I only have three items left now. I should go and set up my quest thread now.

@Kitkat: I did it late in the game but I managed to get about 3k so not that bad for someone who honestly didn't plan to do that. I don't even remember how many tokens I spent. There was a lot of stuff that I wanted and I managed to get it all. Plus the extra stuff to sell. I'm pretty sure that was a lot of tokens. I had a lot of time at the time to do it.

I'm also after the CIs and EIs first for the same reason. They'll keep going up in price and as time goes on it will be harder and harder to find sellers. While obviously we don't have to worry about the commons.

The three items that I have left are the Astral Halo, Pudao of Time, and the Summer Carnival Hairpin. I'm most likely going to go after the halo and pin first because the price isn't that crazy yet. The Pudao most likely will end up being last becasue it's the most and I don't think it's that easy to find someone selling one. I don't know though. Like with everything plans can easily change.

It seems to be like that. It seems like if you're lucky for other people you aren't lucky for yourself. I wonder why that is?

Yeah, there is much demand for the Pudao but very few sellers. Even if they do pop up I think they are more likely to auction it off than to outright sell it. It will be a hard item to get but I've wanted it for quite a while. I was just never able to get enough gold together to get it. It's a shame. But I am determined to get it.

We seem to want a lot of the same items. I think we have similar tastes.

If nothing else I'm grateful that I was forced to post during the event. I meet so many nice and wonderful people. I also made quite a few new friends.

Yeah, I want penguin slippers on Gaia but I know it's not going to happen. I'm not very active any more anyways. So I guess it doesn't matter any more. That's why I want to try to get all the items that I want on Mene. I want to be able to get them while they are still within reach. I've learned my lesson from other sites. If you want a pretty pixel item try to get it as soon as you can. It's only going to get rarer and more expensive as time goes on. Hopefully we'll both be able to get everything we want.

It is very cool to find someone that you have a lot in common with. That's what makes good friendships. Plus it makes it really fun to talk with someone because you have so much in common and you know where the other person is coming from.

I have penguins ^^ hehe. The most expensive item i have is a NM scarf. I use to have a devils tail but i sold it coz i missed all my smaller items like the pengus, pendant, ninja band etc. Before i got it i use to have sash's and afks (left to me by a friend who quit) but i sold them all about 2 years ago to help fund my charity called Cherish.
Biggest mistake i made. Though it was quite fulfilling for a bout a year, the n00bs started pouring in and changed everything and made everything just crap. So i gave the charity too one of my friends and went on hiatus for like 8 months.
When i came back one of my friends introduced me to this betting thread. It was pretty awesome but management sucked so me and a friend of mine made our own betting thread, so now i own Black Magick Casino which is the largest and i think the only betting thread on Gaia. But it's a lot of work lol.

And your right, thats why i've been going pretty hard out for the past weeks since i joined, otherwise i'll never have those items. I know from experience on Gaia lol haha.

Yeh i believe soo too. I don't believe in that saying opposites attract @@. I feel that if you have similiar interests and tastes then you attract each other. I mean yes a person has to have their own seperate likes etc, but if you don't have something in common then i don't know how it attracts you lol.
