There will always be unsavory thoughts in his mind in my opinion - If he can't honestly move on and leave you be he's definitely not ready for marriage ... or even a relationship to be honest. Take my brother for one he is 17 and his girlfriend is 4 months pregnant ... and he just rang tonight and told me that they broke up and he hooked up with someone else last night and has huge hickies all over his neck! I was like great ... so there is no chance in you getting back with her now, so pretty much your gonna be a part time father. Shirking your responsibilities. Tsk Tsk .. It's all a bit too much for me.

Ugh. I hate when people do stuff like that. Thats like the father of my brother's ex's baby. He got her pregnant when they were 14, she had it at 15, he left her not long after and then hardly does anything for the child. When she started to date my brother he pretty much became the father. Her daughter loved him. But he's stationed over in Nebraska, and things eren't working out with them so they broke up and she wont even let him talk to the kid, even though he practically considers her his daughter now. But he has a new girlfriend thats in the Air Force with him, and shes really great and sweet. I can't wait to meet her.

@ Roachi - Yeah, and we have some gifts that we've gotten for her (she loves frogs) but she wont talk to my mom, so she cant get a hold of her to ask when we can give them to her. I just said fine, we'll keep them if she is going to be so rude. Its not our fault that my brother found someone that has more things in common with him and has something going for her that he feels he can love.

Ooh. The more I talk about her the more eager I am to meet her. He says such great things about her, and she looks really nice. :D It should be time for them to come down...like right now. lol

@Nae - Haha it's not that type of paper ... like an essay lol. In saying paper i mean like a course. Im doing writing for the web & webdesign. So there will most likely be more then 1 paper i'd have to write xD & possibly a few assignments along the way lol.
@Su - Oh well her loss. It just sounds like she's being a bit pathetic. I say good on your brother. He made a good go of a bad situation, it's sad yes. But your right ... he deserves to have a life of his own and look forward to having kids of his own etc. She just needs to stop being so selfish and think about her kid in all of this! I bet she's missin him like crazy!

@ Roachi - Yeah, but i'm guessing she is really hurt and doesn't know how to respond to it. They were engaged for awhile, but they were always breaking up and getting back together and were constantly fighting. It just wasn't a working relationship. And yes, the kid really misses him. On halloween they came over (they were broken up at the time, but still kind of talking - later got back together and then after that things finally really ended) and the little girl ran in the house calling "Daddy?!" and trying to find my brother and she went in his room and looked all over. It was hard to explain to her that he wasnt there.

He's apparently supposed to be down for the 4th of July, and hopefully she can come down with him. :)

@ Roachi - Yeah, it was really sad. I had to go grab her and bring her out to her mom and she still kept saying his name. :( She never really understood why he suddenly left. She probably feels like he abandoned her, and i'm sure the mom is probably telling her that now because they aren't together. I really wish she would let him still talk to her. He's so upset about it. He's asked her if he can just call and talk to her on the phone, and she tells him no and wont let him speak to her. It must be really hard on him. He loves that little girl so much.

And yeah, I cant wait. I really hope that she's nice. I'd be so happy if my brother found someone that I liked and approved of. They're actually already talking about marriage, which has me and my family a little worried.
