I agree with you Shan. But there have been a huge increase in pitbulls attacking people and for no given reason. One pitbull attacked a 3 year old kid, who was playing at the park with her parents. Her face got mulched up and she had to have surgery.

Our Dog cookie his name was. We had about a year ago.
He was part bit pull and we were responsible dog owners, took him for walks - never made him vicious or anything of the sort. He was a friendly dog or so we thought.
Then one day he seen our neighbours lil dog in the backyard and he snapped off his chain and jumped the high fence and pounced on it and ripped it up 0______0 outta no where and for no reason. We had to get him put down too >___<

Yeahh, I think they're vicious by nature maybe...?
But I do think it has to do with the owners sometimes...I mean, just a little thing could set them off.
Kinda like the little dog, your dog probably gelt threatened by it, even though it was smaller...but who knows? I don't speak dog. D;

One of my dogs had to, I'd had him since I was around 3, and then like... I was 12 he had to be put down because of a health issue (something couldn't be removed that'd been growing...like..a cist or something?). I cried so muchh. I loved DJ. But...at least he's in a good place now. <3

Yeh probably. But like seriously, there's nothing you can do too stop it from happening.
Exactly how do you know your dog has a issue that needs to be dealt with before it gets outta hand, and how do you deal with it? Especially since you know it as a friendly, loving dog. You could never imagine it doing something like that.
EH i dunno, i wasn't that close to it but my brother was. And mum was soo mad coz she just spent a fortune getting him fixed & getting all his jabs etc.

Aww that's sad when that happens. I've had my cat Marley for 14 years. She's still alive it will be sad when she dies.

I don't trust Pit Bulls. They will just suddenly turn, for no reason at all. I think there is some kind of genetic defect in their brain that can be triggered unexpectedly at some point in the dog's life. I suppose any dog could, but this breed is the most common.
