My friends and I discussed a long time ago about the mechanics of shopping if it were made an Olympic event. xDD;;
Like, there would be a list, and the "athletes" would have to run around the mall getting the exact items and such. Then the fastest time wins. xDD;;
Although then we debated on how much points could be given if the item was close enough. :x
Or, if it was an event of style, then it would be SO hard to judge. @[email protected];;
So, like, we mostly stuck to the marathon-shopping event idea. xDD;;

lol, the fact that this was a discussion piece aka mechanics of olympic shopping. Your idea reminds me of a game show that used to be on over here....cant for the life of me remember what it was called now.....but they ran around a super market getting things and the person with the most money in there cart won.

Yes, sometimes they say: "7am to 9am only". This happens a lot in the Friday after Thanksgiving sales. They want to get the shoppers into their stores early.

And then they only have a couple of their highly advertised big sale items, so you have to get there first. Sometimes there are hoards of people outside the doors, waiting for them to open them up. It's scary. I stay away.

Yeah, I went to a NEXT sale once when it opened at 5am. Never again. >.>

I had to get up before 5am in my working days.
Never again. Now I laze in bed until at least 9am...

lol I hate mornings myself, 9-10am is getting up early for me. xP

9am to 10am is too early for my regular hours. xDD;;
I wake up at 11am normally if there's no school. ^^;;
Actually, more like 11am-2pm, but it all depends. xDD;;

Well, I always feel guilty for sleeping late.
My hubby gets up around 4-6am every morning.

He says once he wakes up, he has to get up. I just roll over and go back to sleep.

I hate, hate, HATE getting up early. I press my snooze button most of the time without realising it, then panic when I'm running late. :XD
