Hi Lilith! We drove through a small portion of IL coming here. I wanted to go to the six flags up there but we never got around to it this past summer. Maybe someday.

Yeah, Maine is definitely empty. I only like it in the summer. The weather is tollerable and it's good for camping. I miss it then, but definitely not now. People are kinds cut off up there, don't you think? They are weird. I have a sgt from Maine, and he's a weirdo. Lol. People don't understand that just being from Maine makes you weird, but it does. Like living on a cold island. lol

Oh it's not that good? How sad. I miss amusement parks. I used to go to Busche Gardens all the time. That's my favorite. Ever been there.

Is anyone going to watch the meteor show tonight?

I thought the park was great, the workers were what I had a problem with. They made fun of scaried kids. It didn't help a storm popped up and one of the workers yelled "It's a tornado. We're all going to die." Right next to a kids ride.
I love Bush Gardens. I used to go there once a year but haven't been in awhile.
I go to Holiday World a lot. Have you been there?

I have never even heard of holiday world! It sounds like a fun place though. I just wish that amusement parks were open in the winter. I guess that only hapens in warm places. I used to have friends that performed at Busche Gardens and we would get in free with them, nearly weekly. hehe... good times.

I saw it in the news. It's supposed to be the biggest meteor shower of the year at around midnight eastern time. Unfortunately it's cloudy here but I'm hoping that it will clear up.
