The hole should be there still if it came out last night . . . why do you need to get the ear re-pierced?

It hasn't been six weeks yet...and apparently my body heals quickly. The hole was closed up by the time I realized the earring was gone!

Poor Taiyo. The same thing happened to me but I just shoved it back in and went on with my day.

Wow . . . I've actually left them open with no earrings for about two years, one time, and the hole still hadn't closed up. It was tight, but still open . . .

I haven't worn earrings regularly since I was like 10 years old.
Until I was like 15 I wore them at least once a month but since then I might wear earrings 5 hours every two months.

My problem is I'm allergic to most metals that earrings are made from, I can only wear silver. Any other metal I have to coat in clear finger nail polish.
And my ears are really fat so I can't wear most post earrings.

yeah, but it does mean whenever I'm given jewerly it is always nice silver or gold (not gold covering).
I got a really nice bracelet from it. I turned a gift from a nice gold plate to a chipped green mess. So I was given a really nice sold gold bracelet instead. ^^
