I understand what you are saying Esme and I agree.
Hi Clair Bear.
Well we drove the 2 hours to get to the gardens, got lost then finally found it an hour later only to find that there was no parking for 6 miles around it.
We drove around for 3 hours trying to find a spot to park and never found anything so we just left. I was upset but we went shopping instead.

I am reading The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova.
I too love rain and thunder, something about the combination of peaceful rain and powerful thunder, and the smell of it, I just adore.
No worries, I just noticed the horrid lightning, and thunderstorms here aren't anything to be taken lightly, so I'll be off to!
I'll come back perhaps tomorrow evening. ^^

I love the rain!! Another one of nature's beauty... I adore listening to the rain falling down from the sky... especially when it hits the window pane... the sounds it creates...ofcourse getting caught in the rain is a totally different feeling...and sometimes it can be a good feeling. But when I am sick.. not so much... xD
@Yosono: that is indeed a great book! ^^ **loves to read** but lately i have been reading children's books to the two children I nanny for. ^^
@Tragic: Hello! how are you? :)

ahh.. Tragic!!! I am happy to see you are here! ^^
I am doing ok.. i miss my husband alot..its been two weeks..and to wait until spring for us to be together again..it just seems so far..
but on a good note...finally my Dell computer was shipped today...so it should arrive on the 3rd to the 5th... I am hoping it comes on the 3 rd. ^^
**does her bunny fairy dance**
the games are the best way to earn gold if you like playing them.. ^^
@Yosono: oh yes.. i remember reading that book a while back... back in my college days... but i don't remember everything in it.. I just know what happens in the end.. and I won't spoil it..since you are almost there... a large reason for not remembering most of it... due to the fact that it's quite long winded in the middle.. lol :)

@Tragic: LOL... yeah I thought you did.. lol silly me! XD
My husband is a new supervisor down there..and i had to move up here to be closer to my mom cause she is sick...we plan to buy a house up here in two years... I advised my husband to stay with this job until spring time..he would complete a year as supervisor there..so he can get an equally good job here. Its just alot of stuff he needs to complete there before moving here.. it was easier for me to move at this time and I got a job within one week of being here. I only work three days a week and i make 450 a week... its pretty good for just 3 days. And i plan to keep this job until I am done with childcare classes and then on to my master's degree...and then open up my own daycare. ^^
i talk too much.. XD but this is basically what is going on with me right now. :)
Well Tragic..just post your best.. and the more content you put in a post the more gold you get..up to 20 gold per post...but it depends on how much you write..and staying on topic is key too.
@Yosono: well... it depends on what you define as a good ending.. for me... a good ending can sometimes be a tragic one...like Romeo and Juliet for example..although it was a very sad ending..in a sense..it was a very good ending..because it touched alot of people's hearts.. and no matter what century you lived...Romeo and Juliet never gets old.
So it really depends on how you look at it...now the Historian isn't like Romeo and Juliet...maybe some themes can be compared..but its still very different..so it also is dependant on the execution of the content in the book to build up to its "good" ending. If you feel its just...then its a good ending! ^^ but I won't tell you the ending... no sir bob! XD
I was just giving an example on how I view a good ending.. :)

@Esmerina:
That's too, sometimes a tragic ending is nice, I even expect this book to end tragically.
I never liked Romeo and Juliet...the idiocy and tragedy of the young "love" portrayed in it...what a mess. Back in it's era I'm sure I would have found it enjoyable, but I can't really stand that one, though I like many of S's other works. It is a good story of course, but though it never gets OLD by century, it's some of the ideas in it which form the story that I really have issues with. It would take forever to explain the reasons for my dislike for it, so I'll just hope you understand. Ha, or not ^^.
Hmm, I'll wait and see! Perhaps it will be a more modern take on a Romeo and Juliet-esque ending. I doubt it would disturb me like the ending of that Twilight series. *shudder*
Any ending has the potential to be good, as long as you find a way to be open minded about it and try to understand the author's perspective and reasons. ^^ I'll find something good in it I'm sure, it makes me want to finish it all the more.

yeah.. that would be great Tragic! ^^ i really like that dream avi you have on your sig. I am sure with patience and dedication.. you will reach it..
don't be shy to ask for help too... in the charities section there are some awesome charities going on..and people there are more than willing to help..i got alot of my stuff from the charities. And I am so grateful to them too. Once I am done with my big quests...minus the queen's crown..since i know that will take forever to get...i only have 2 other big quests to complete...then I will focus more on doing my own charities... ^^
I have to go to bed now.. i have church in the morning.. you have a wonderful night!
you too Yosono!! and Kianna!! And thats the spirit! just go with that kind of mindset and you won't be disappointed... :) its ok not to like Romeo and Juliet..it was just an example of a good ending.. but ofcourse certain themes Shakespeare used can be liked or disliked. Regardless it still got people's attention. Sometimes even disliking what an author did in their work serves a good purpose too. ^^ its ok Yosono.. you are on the right track. :)
**snuggles you all with bunny love**
talk soon! and Gnight!<3
