well up here in nor-cal there was a 5.6 magnitude earthquake on october 30th so there weren't as many trick-or-treaters the day after, and me being the "always lucky one" lived 1/2 a mile away from the epicenter so you didn't have it that bad. lucky you...

well, I've felt two eartquakes in LA... I was sleeping during both of them, but then i woke up.. at first i though it was just my cat, but when i realized that it was an eartquake, I grabbed the sleeping cat, and ran to the nearest door frame.
The scariest earthquake I have been through was the one in Tehran though. I was in a seven store building, and i thought that the building was going to collapse, and kill me.. one of the walls did actually break.. >_>;;

I heard about that on the news, although I don't live anywhere near California, let alone the states

I live in Ohio and I can't remember there ever being an earthquake in my lifetime. If there was I was too little to remember it. But one day I went in for morning classes and the guys were all talking about a mini earthquake we had that night. I didn't feel it. I guess I just slept through it but nothing fell or moved or anything. It was big news here though even though it was minor because no one expects that sort of thing in Ohio. xD

in Holland it would be frontpage news if we'd get a huge earthquake.
hardly any earthquakes here in holland, and even if we get one... it's hardly noticable..

We've had small/tiny earthquakes here in VT.
Can't really compare to the real thing.
I felt a shivering feeling and I'd know it was an earthquake at once.

I don't really know how I'd react to a more severe earth quake, hopefully something safe and quick.
