I don't think Eroy would lie about it though @[email protected] We don't know just how many accounts have been banned either, Mene isn't exactly as big as Gaia. How many years was the raffle and GBA operating? Eventually they were going to dwindle out of the bigger items. In saying all that, the context she was talking about it in, appeared to be in regards to 07 Val items.

But I think at least with the rarer SNGs they should be put into a raffle again, hosted by an NPC. I mean handing them out exclusively at events sucks for people who study or work - and can't dedicate time to the threads actively. Plus it's weird that there are more of the first CIs and EIs, than SNGs X___x;; But then I guess Mene wants to be different to Gaia. Maybe they want a few SNGs to be ultra rare.

As for the GBA/Raffle - Yeah it's been around for awhile. I mean it was around before i came on the scene and i got quite a lot out of it. So imagine how much other stuff people woulda got outta it too.
It's really sad, i hope it does come back - It was really awesome to come into that when i first started here. It's prob the reason i stayed, coz there was such a good chance i could get rares.

As for SNGS, yeah they def need to do something about getting a lot of those handed out. Don't have to make em as handouts, even competitions. Something to get the community pumping.

Yeahh - I've only been here since '08 and thought it was a new thing 'cause I hadn't heard of it until nearly a year on here :yes:
But yeah - if it's been around for quite some time then it's not as surprising that it ran out haha

I dunno, I guess as users are banned over time - the ones currently being banned probably don't have big 07s. Yeah I think it's been running the last few years, Mene isn't that old though. It would be nicer to see the NPCs out and about more, makes me wonder if they have enough staff to handle the whole NPC/SNG thing?? Coz I understand their mods are probably busy doing their jobs and blah blah blah. But it's sad only being able to see the NPCs during events, when that whole SNG thing started weren't the NPCs out amongst the community?

Edit - Ahh yep, I get ya now on the surprising part about the older items drying up.

Yeah i've gotten a lot of stuff from the Raffle/GBA too. They must have given out soooo many items. Remember the sets they gave out? That's a whole bunch of items in one hit. Yeah it's too hard to get bigger items, coz they're just becoming that rare to find in the exchange. You only stand a chance of getting them if you do arts, and someone sitting on a lot happens to like your work and follow your auctions X_x

That would be cool, if they used to SNGs to get the community pumping. Their arguement could be that that is what events are for though X___x; Blarghh. What if they had a date an NPC thingy xD!!!!!! Bahahaha, where you put your name into a draw, and you get to ask the NPC 10 questions, get an official art piece of your avvy + the NPC, and an item of theirs... that would be damn kewl!
