Some dumb ass 'seminar', to do with recruitment or whatever. The guy on the phone said it was some new incentive, but all that happened is we got there - and had to look at the jobs on the wall, then talk to a case manager about our progress xD!!! WTF. All good though, the guy I got today was sooo lovely. A nice gay island boy lols! He's gonna send my CV off to some place, that work with creatives - like artists, and musicians. Not expecting much out of it, but whatever. At least it makes me look busy xD!

Omg, I hate washing the bathroom/toilet O_O!!! Thank goodness Joe does that xD! He was a good lad this weekend, vacuumed the whole house, and mopped the floors. Did the washing. It's coz he knew I was in a shit with him hahaha.

@Roachi - HAHAHAH M.I.A magically transported to another land. Naw not really, just couldn't keep up with everything. Even though I work online it was just a lot for a while there. The low-down? Went to arizona for a few weeks to meet some coworkers of mine, been helping my best friend prepare for her trip to turkey (she just left on the 16th), christmas, tons of birthdays and parties in between there because of the christmas season, gpa died, been helping to clean out the gparents place, also trying to change my sleep cycle because I'm moving to midnights soon and applied for beauty school was accepted and start in march. - falls over - there's been little bits of drama of course but that I think sums it up.

HOW HAVE YOU BEEN! I'm back for a good while now, especially with my shift changing I'm gonna have a ridiculous amount of free time, weeee. What's new and exciting how have things been in the dating department -wiggles eyebrows- what did you get for christmas etc... :3 :3

LOL - I was really surprised he did it. He asked to go for a surf on Saturday afternoon, and I know that means he'll be back at like 8-9pm. I was feeling really down about stuff, and he just wasn't doing a very good job of comforting me X_x;; So I shut myself in my room, and bawled like a baby, argh. So before he left he did the housework hahaha. Which he should do, coz I do the housework all week long. Bloody ass lol. It's part of my schedule now ^^.

I've felt that way for a while especially with me supporting the bf while he goes to school and I was going to have to wait another 5 years to go. So that's why I applied for beauty school and am going to that. Its a 10month course but then I could apprentice anywhere and I love make up and what not so seemed like something fun to do so I could start making more money than what I am now. What kind of job are you looking for? I'm not sure but are you still in school or did you finish or didn't go? Hopefully you find something soon eh <3

I've been meaning to dig through the post history and search out when I actively started going for the Boa. Ohh sorry dear, QR = quest raffle ^^ You technically can't sell those items yet, but Juru looked at the case and agreed that it would be okay in this instance <3 So who knows, the future may hold something bright, for people wanting to pass on their raffle items. There has been a slight influx of items since people could sell their auction items ^^. Not as much as I thought, but it has still made a bit of a difference.

Awww wow, what is your bf studying towards? My partner has been doing the same with me too, since about 2007. He has had to support me while I study, it's been very hard at times X__x;; So I can understand what you're going through. He was very lucky though in that he'd already gotten a degree, so he was focussing mainly on operating his own business while holding a full time job. I graduated from university in Nov last year ^^! Ohhh beauty school! I always see so many jobs advertised for people in that industry, you'll definitely have a lot of options opened up to you <3 I hope it goes really well for you, you'll be able to open up your own company some day too, if you wanted <3

I'm mostly looking for scut work X__x;; Administration, reception duties, anything in that area </3 Not having much luck. In saying that, i'm receiving money from the Government for assistance, which is at $400 a week. That's so much better, than what i'd get working to be honest o.o;;

Funnily enough, just as I was typing this up - I got a phone call from a recruitment agency. EEEK. They're going to send me a data entry test... whatever that means o.o;; Not expecting to get anywhere though. Things have been terrible for me on the job front, I keep failing all their online psychoanalysis tests haha. Does that mean i'm craaaazy o_O?

Ohhhh I getcha <3 <3 man that was so awesome that the exception was allowed, and you should find out when you "officially" started to quest for it. It would be interesting to see how long it took. So was the wait worth it? Sometimes I find I only want an items sooo bad and then once I have it I'm like okay time to tuck you away into my inventory for safe keeping! I've noticed more items being for sale that I want... as in the Vday Pendant. Lucky me to go M.I.A and not save up and now I have all these items, but with more people online and selling the likelier I think it is that I will potentially get it.

He's studying to become a teacher. Majoring education minor in history and arts I think, not too sure. I wanted to go to our local College for Graphic Design - buuuut its to expensive and the hours don't quite work. So beauty school it is. I do love me some make up and I do a lot of nail art and everything myself anyway. So taking the full body course I can do it all aside form hair and electrolysis so not too bad. After I finish my apprentice ship if I like the field then I'll go back and take the hair course and by the time I'm finished that and another apprenticeship my bf should be finished school. That's what I was thinking I could basically live anywhere and find work - girls always want to pamper themselves and I do so many friends and friends of friends hair, make up and nails as it is I may as well get paid for it eh.

Ahh congrats on graduating!!!!! Yeah it can be rough when its 1 or the other in school, but when you can afford only so much you gotta do what you gotta do eh. I think now that I'm also going to be in school for a bit and at least get a trade instead of working dead end jobs it'll be better for our relationship because I feel that even though I'm the one working and paying the bills in the end I'm worth more? If that even makes sense. I digress.

Ohhh so your basic office job eh. dude 400 a week is AWESOME, that's what I make working my job. And that's after 2 raises lol. I believe you, try and stay on assistance for as long as you can - I mean really it can't hurt and if nothing else any extra cash you have you might as well try and pay off any debt you can with the governments money.

OOOOOO recruitment agency? Never heard of those but I'm sure they exist here as well. Data entry test eh, probably one of those "what skills or job is she suited for" kinda thing. LOLOLOL actually yes, yes it does. Certifiably so, you may even be doomed :P

Ahh i wish it was like that here. Rob is good at only doin the dishes. He was good at first, but i forgot that was during his holiday period, now that he's back at work, it's like his divine right to be lazy or something.

Its actually one of the better ones around here its just so freaking expensive - I'm just glad its only 10 months then apprenticeship and boom done. Ah its alright, its hard to explain because its such a long and ridiculous story but I just try to look at it in the light of "he wasn't a nice person, but he was still my grandfather" and it works out okay. My family and I have just been cleaning his place and going through everything - which has proven to be such a huge undertaking.

The place is WAYYYY better now. I was obsessed with scrubbing walls there for a while but mostly because of the roaches, which haven't seen signs of them for over a few months so I think they're all done and gone now... WEEEE <3 <3 I actually just renewed my lease for another year.

Exactly xD. Well it's not that i have lack of experience i've got lots. It's the fact that i've had so many jobs in a short space of time, and neither one of them more then 2 years. They're worried about me not being commited enough. So that's my issue, trying to convince employers to give me a chance.

You prob did, but i hardly go on there. I don't get the time to go on much, other then mene and my facebook games lol. Just been too hardout into lookin for work. Plus i have got to catch up on my uni work before i get into deep trouble lol. So will be doin that all day tomorrow.

Yeah it was alright, had a nice and all. Though made the mistake of having a big breakfast and couldn't eat lunch xDD. So i had trifle instead, packed some lunch (bbq) away for me. But realized my brother had unwrapped my plate and not put it back on properly, so the 5 mins i had it sitting on the bench for me to take when i went out the door, a fly got in. Had to bin it. Twas very sad LOLOL. What did you get, anything of interest??

We can get student loans depending on where you go to school. The government may be able to give me some money but probably not enough. Its 8k for the 10 month course. I made an appointment with my bank and they refused the loan because of how much a month I pay in rent, so because of that my parents are going to loan the money to me and I can pay them back interest free when I finish the course. The main reason I wanted the loan was so that I would have a safety net since my hours are changing I may not be guaranteed full time which I need to pay the bills etc.. but the course starts March 7th so we'll see. The plan is to work midnight - 8am, catch a bus, go to school from 9 - 430, eat, work out, sleep from 7 - 11:55 lol rinse and repeat.

There are some things of value, but its really long and complicated. He also left us around 36 - 40k in debt. So we have to take care of that. I'm just happy that we recovered most of the items he pawned and found others we thought he pawned but didn't. So things overall I suppose are looking up eh.

I'm "lucky" I guess in that every job I've had for the most part I have been at for over a year. My current one I just hit 2 years, my last one was around 3 etc... but I still don't think that's a good judge. They don't know if you had to leave because the company folded, or because you had to move or any number of reasons. Employers are funny that way I suppose.

lol its all good, uni work ehhh homework is so boring... that is one thing I am definitely not looking forward to having, especially since most of mine will be hands on and I'll have to find test subjects.

Awwww that's so crappy!!! I had trifle for the first time a few weeks ago it was so weird lol. I got a kitchen knife set I wanted, a few vids, warhammer stuff, perfume I dunno all the usual suspects nothing spectacular but everything was awesome to get of course.
