They did finally show up at close to 4pm (roughly four hours later than the time he said he'd be here). He had to stop by the house of the brother that had been over the day before to pick up some golf clubs. The boys were glad to see him, so that was good. And it was a nice visit, told him that if things didn't work out for him where he's living now, he's always welcomed back here because this is technically still his house. I think it was almost 6 when they left. (It made me a bit upset that they could stay half a day at Wesley's sister's house but not quite two hours here.)

And I agree. I don't think I'm asking too much for a phone call if someone plans to visit. Or is running late. Common courtesy, I thought. Oh, and I think that Wesley ought to be included in anything regarding the house or land as he's paying the bills and living here. *sighs* I saw on fb where the step-dad gave permission to someone to hunt on the lands (this don't bother me at all) but it was Wesley's sister who told the person. I'm kind of like... Thanks for the heads up.

I'm being silly about it, I know. I had intended to keep my resolution of not sweating the small stuff. It's failing bad. Dx Also, sorry for my rant. ;_; I needed to vent.

It was pleasant, which was good. And yes, the mortgage is in his name along with the title/deed. That is the plan, I think. He's keeping it in his name for the time being because we think they'd up the payment if he put it in Wesley's name. The payment was cut in half basically because the step-dad was also having to cover medical bills from when Wesley's mom was alive and we couldn't afford the nearly $800 payment along with the other bills. (We could have if Wesley's brother had got a job when he was living here but... Eh, he's moved out over a year ago and expenses have been less.)
My assumption is that he lost track of time and just figured it was easier to stay there. It had seemed like everyone, but us and Wesley's brother whose car isn't running, had decided to just hang out there. If we had known that, we would have went over. :( But it was like 8pm when we found out.

Yeah, I worry about any time the boys go out to play and want to walk down the road. We have hunters that go down there all the time since the guy who owns the property behind us rents out a house for the hunters. I worry more about a hunter mistaking us for an animal than running into a bear or wolf.
