With a groan, Carol rolled her eyes. "I thought you were done with that. There's nothing to your little theory."

"There's plenty to it. You just are blind to it."

"Sure, whatever, Annet," she grumbled into her tea. "Entertain your little fantasy, just don't be dissapointed when you realize you're wrong."

"I think you're the one that's disappointed." Anett said as they entered the other room.

With one quick, humourless laugh, she asked, "What am I supposed to be dissapointed about?"

"You should have seen your expression earlier, when you were claiming he only liked you because he can't have you?"

"Wha--? I'm glad that's the only reason he likes me. It'd be a very...difficult situation if there was anything else to it." A small blush had returned, and she refused to move her gaze from the floor.

"Then why are you blushing?"

"Because it's an embarassing subject! Now aren't you supposed to be getting me a weapon?"

"Right, right... what's your element?"

She gave a small sigh of relief. "I guess water. Or air. Either work."

Anett rummaged through things and pulled out three basic and very plain weapons. "Here, try each of these. Attack me with them, we'll see what you can do. No magic, just blunt force. And don't worry, you won't hurt me." she assured. "I've got enough shielding spells to block almost anything."

She looked at the weapons unhappily. Not only was she very against using them, she knew she wasn't going to be very good. A bit nervous, she picked up a sword, weighing it in her hands. It was lighter than she expected and easy to hold. Once she was certain she could handle it, she took a swing at Annet. Her aim had gotten quite a bit better due to Isaac's insane training sessions, and she wasn't half bad with the weapon.

Anett easily read the attack and blocked it with her metal contraption. "Very good, try a few more swings and we'll move tot he next weapon. Isaac uses a bow, among other things, and Jin uses either a sword or a gun. He's got a pretty nice gun, one of my better works. We'll have you try that as well." She stretched her arms, "I could also set you up with some robotics if you want, similar to what I have, although since you have wings I suppose it would be a bit pointless."

She shook her head. "I'm fine the way I am, and I don't want to use a gun." Without missing a beat, she took another swing at Annet. "And I really don't think you want a bow and arrow in my hands. That's just asking for me to hurt myself."

"I'll show you how to use it, it's not too hard once you get the hang of it. Isaac likes it because he can use wind to direct the arrow. Although he generally doesn't use it. He's a magic user mainly, he uses a staff he makes and takes care of himself. I've never seen it myself, but some of the old battle stories talk about it, it sounds pretty amazing." She said as she continued to block attacks. "My Creeper's pretty amazing isn't it? It's programed to sense oncoming attacks and block them, I don't have to do anything. Let's try the bow now."

"I'm telling you, I'm going to be really bad with it. My hand-eye coordination is zilch."

"Just try it." She said, hanind Carol a bow after giving her a quick lesson on how to use it. "Aim At the painting on the far wall, I've been meaning to get rid of it anyway."

With a small sigh, Carol raised the bow, took aim, and let go. The arrow hit on the edge of the painting with a soft thud.

"Try a time or two more, see if you can improve your aim."

"Fine..." Her next shot hit a bit closer to the center, and the third one landed about center, but too far up.

"With some practice you wouldn't be too bad at that. The third option's a gun, if you want to stick with the basics. What weapon would you want, if you could chose any?"

"I'm not touching the gun," she said firmly. "And...I don't know about the other two. I'm still worried I'll screw up with the bow and hurt myself, or someone else."

"Were you more comfortable with the sword?" She asked.

"A little, yeah..." She set the bow down, stretching.
