Jin took a rather sudden yet graceful turn, flying on his back. "Since when are demons famously nice?" He questioned. "Address?"

She rattled off an address, not particularly liking their current position. "It wouldn't kill you to be one of the first. Besides, wouldn't this whole situation be easier if I didn't completely hate you?" She smiled sweetly, though her eyes betrayed the rest of her expression.

"It doesn't really matter to me how you feel. And chances are you aren't going to change your mind of me any time soon anyway." He tightened his grip as his wings folded in and they shot towards the ground.

Once again she clung to him, her eyes squeezed shut. "But wouldn't this whole thing be much easier for both of us if I did? I'd probably be more willing to do what you asked!"

"Willing or not, you won't have much choice." He pointed out, "And I have been fairly kind to you. This whole deal benefits you more than it does me." He didn't slow down as they neared the ground, but feet from impact he did a somersault and landed lightly on his feet, his wings folding in and disappearing. "It's just around this corner right?" He asked as he let go of her and took her hand instead, looking like a fairly normal guy. "If they ask about your car, you dropped it off at a nearby mechanic and walked here."

She was shaking slightly, his little acrobat stunt having scared her half to death. "Car...? Oh, yeah..." It took her a few moments to calm down, and when she did she asked, "How exactly do you plan to get me to do something if I refuse?"

"By creating a deal with demon you're officially signing a contract, an it creates a spell between us. If I give you a direct order it will be difficult for you to disobey it, the difficulty depending on the importance of the order. The importance is determined by how much I want you to obey. So it wouldn't be to hard to refuse to get me a drink, whereas if I asked you to kill someone, you wouldn't be able to refuse without some pretty significant pain." He explained. "This is your last chance o back out, are you sure you want to go through with this?" He asked, leaning forward so their faces were level. "It cannot be undone."

Backing out was starting to sound better and better, especially considering just how strong the bond would be. She stared back at him, fear visible in her eyes. It'd be so easy for her to just say 'no' right then. Then she could walk away and never see him again, just continue her life as it had been. No worries about what he'd want her to do, about what would happen to her soul, about anything.
Except her parents.
She took a deep breath, her heart pounding. "No," she said softly. "I have to do this. No matter the costs."

Jin took her hand, "This will hurt just a bit..." He said as he trailed a long nail in a pattern on the back of her hand, leaving a trail of black ink. The symbol was a crest, his crest, and a mark of ownership. "The ink will burn, leaving a mark. The mark will be a scar, and a fairly permanent one. When the scar fades completely, if I haven't freed you by then, then you will be free." He snapped producing a small flame on his fingertip, "Are you ready?"

Shakily, she nodded. "H-How bad is it going to hurt?" Her hand was shaking slightly again, the flame reflected in her fear-filled eyes. How much of this kind of stuff was she going to have to go through? How had she even ended up like this? Just yesterday morning, she'd been a happy, good, wholesome woman and now she was a demon's slave. Things like that weren't supposed to happen to people like her. If they happened to anyone, it was supposed to be sinners, people who would have actually enjoyed being around him. Which reminded her, he still hadn't told her his name...

((He's pointedly not telling her btw. XD ))
Jin very suddenly pulled her face to his chest, holding her still as he lit the ink. It blazed up before slowly dieing down.

She screamed, simultaneously clutching at him and trying to pull away. Tears welled up in her eyes and when screaming proved ineffective, she began to sob, slowly going limp in his arms. Eventually she fell quiet, save for a soft whimper now and then, her entire hand a throbbing bright red.

Jin pulled a strip of white fabric from his undershirt and wrapped the wound. "It'll heal neatly, you don't have to worry about the bandages sticking or anything, although it will be black where the ink was." He said softly, supporting her weight. "When the pain has dulled we'll get moving again."

"I...hate you," she murmured, wiping her tears away with her good hand. It took a while, but finally she managed to stand on her own, albeit unsteadly. "Let's just...get this done..."

"Hate me all you want, but calm yourself, you don't want to worry your parents." He said in a singsong voice as he started walking again, taking her other hand in his. "And why are you so pissed at me? You choose this. You made a deal with a devil, and thus you've got the mark to show for it."

"You didn't mention you were going to brand me. I have every right to be angry. That was one of the most painful things I've ever gone through..." She looked at her hand in disgust. "Any more torturous surprises I should know about?" Now she had to figure out what to tell her parents about this, too. So many lies....Guilt was starting to creep in, though she was pretty sure that lying at this point was the least of her worries.

"It's not my choice, it's part of the spell, although I suppose I could have given you a choice as to where to put the brand..." Jin said with a small shrug. "And yes, just one, but that's a long way off, so don't worry about it for now."

"Do not ask again." He said flatly, unmistakably an order, and a fairly serious one. "When the time comes I'll explain, but you're looking possibly decades into the future on that. For a human, that's quite a while. Let's go Carol, your mother's waiting."

She glared at him. "Fine, but at least tell me your name. I can't introduce you as just 'my fiance'." The thought of him being her fiance still sent shivers down her spine, even if it was just pretend. "And I don't feel like addressing you as 'demon' for the rest of my life."

"But if you call me by name it'll be disrespectful. Sue is pretty weak compared to mos demons. And 'Master'... well, I think you'd mind that more than I would... My last name would work, but that's rather a mouthful." He said thoughtfully, "I guess we'll go with Jin and hope for the best."

"Jin?" She rolled her eyes. "Why does it not surprise me your name is an alocoholic drink? And I'm confused. If I'm..." She grimaced. "If I'm yours, what does it matter to anyone else how I act? I mean, don't you sort of get to decide how to treat your...?" She couldn't find a word to describe what she was that wasn't completely demeaning, and so simply trailed off.
