Hello! I'm not sure if I've posted here yet, because this account was abandoned for quite some time, but here I am again. I'm quite new and I'm yet to learn the ways of Menewsha. It seems that earning gold takes longer on here than it does on Gaia Online (yes, I came from there, so sue me) and it's a little frustrating when you're used to getting it easier. Though, I suppose, it's a different site and you can't expect them to all be the same. :sarcasm:

Oh, I suppose I should tell you a bit about myself!

My name's Ashleigh, if you couldn't already tell. I'm eighteen years old, I'm female and I live in Australia. I'm currently at school (it's a place called TAFE here in Aus, though I don't know what you'd call it in America) studying to become a hairdresser. My favourite colour is pink, and my favourite band is Muse.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Menewsha. I'm afraid it is different from Gaia, and it does take some time to adjust, but I believe you'll find it worth the effort n_n

@ Kai Xinh Shi: Haha! Thanks. I've wanted to be a hairdresser ever since I was little; I've always loved playing with people's hair. As a long term goal I'm aiming to get into film/music/theatre hairstyling, though that's only an aspiration and will probably never happen. But we can dream, eh? :)

Oh yes, we can dream. Work at it and you may just reach that goal, however. I've already beaten many odds down with a rusty spork so keep the aspirations up! 8D

Though it is more rewarding (At least... to me) so... yeah.

Hello! Welcome to Mene! I have Gaia too. You might think getting gold is harder here, however the CIs (equivalent of Gaia's MCs) are way cheaper here.

So many replies! Thanks, all. Everybody seems friendly and I'm sure I'll enjoy my time here on Mene. I suppose I'm just used to Gaia throwing gold at us rather than earning it (as opposed to when Gaia first started out). I'll definitely give this event a go. ;)
