I think you should work on your art. It's not bad for a start. But you should definitely work on shading and proportions.

It looks really good for a start, but like everyone else has been saying, looks like you could study proportions a little and add some shading here and there to make it look a bit more ... well real I suppose.

It is rather cute though as it is. *smiles* And not bad if its like a first try at drawing. I have no drawing talent whatsoever really. So good job!
