Sorry I slipped off to bed when it went quiet. :XD I'm in England, where it's actually sunny today, it's rained most days since my Gran died but it's sunny today.

I hope it's sunny on the funeral.
My Mom's funeral was really windy, which was good, because then there weren't any mosquitos during the burial portion.

I hope so too, it's meant to be really bad the end of the week gale force winds and everything.

-_- it would blow me over most likely, I get pushed along by the wind loads because I'm only little. That's why I don't use umbrellas when I do and the wind gets it right I nearly take of like a tiny Mary Poppins.
Mum's not having anybody carrying the coffin, she doesn't want to risk anybody dropping her. :XD

It's such an honor to people to be pall bearers.
But maybe it's not such a custom over there as it is over here.

I don't know I've only been to one other funeral. I think it's just my mum would be panicking the whole time that they would drop her and she's stressed enough. That and nobody that she would ask is even remotely similar in height.

Hmm... I guess we never thought of the height aspect.
But it all seemed to work out anyway.

She's trying to do the order of service thing so she's asking my opinions on things but isn't really liking what I'm saying.

We let the minister lead the way on that stuff.
We took most of his suggestions.

Well she's got a picture of my Gran when she was younger on the front and the hymns inside and she's wrote a poem on the back and put loving daughter, son, grandchildren all that stuff on the back with the recent picture of Grandma at the bottom. She was leaving my uncle's family off it so I said she should probably put him on even though she isn't liking him at the moment because it would only cause problems especially since her like whole side of the family who don't know anything that he's done will be seeing it.

Our memorial folder has a copy of the obituary, which lists all the family. Brothers, sisters, children. It doesn't list the nephews, nieces, or inlaws.
Then it has a nice poem:
Quote:
I Am Not There
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am in a thousand winds that blow,
I am the softly falling snow.
I am the gentle showers of rain,
I am the fields of ripening grain.
I am in the morning hush,
I am in the graceful rush
Of birds in circling flight.
I am the star shine of the night.
I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quiet room.
I am the birds that sing,
I am in each lovely thing.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I did not die.

I haven't been to one for er 4 years, we weren't told where or when the old guy that lived in the house behind ours that I called Granddads was. He died 2 years ago when it was really windy he got knocked over by it and hit his head.

Sorry for vanishing on you guys again, but school has started back up and teachers are wasting no time in loading us all up with homework XD. I'm working on some 3D homework right now (or I was) but it gets really tiring staring at a screen so much and moving little objects around only to find they don't look right from a different angle x.x
I've also got lots of reading and drawing to do but I will get to that on the bus and when I get home...
How is everyone @[email protected]

I still need to buy a tablet that's compatible with my new computer x.x
I have a commission that needs finishing! And someone wants to do an art trade with me. And my brain is swirling with ideas~ << although I haven't done the sketches, so....lol. I wish I was a fast sketcher, but I'm just so picky...not that much comes out like I want it to anyway but if I were faster I'd have more time for corrections!
The new buttons are neat :'o

I see them, and they look so simple.
I think "I can do that", and then I try to... proportions come out all wrong, the lines end up looking all squiggly...
It's just a mess...

Mine come out all squiggly but the program I use lets you edit individual strokes so I can alter it without having to do it all over again as long as I use the linework layer. I <3 the linework layer. :XD

I can do layers too, but I don't know how to work it well enough...
It's not automagic.
