The girl who left did say goodbye at least. I've heard that she left because her and her mother had something else they had to do. But that's pretty much all I've heard. I do feel really bad for the mommy-to-be. This baby shower meant a lot to her.

Awehh, I feel sorry for her.
I wonder what they had to do that was so important that she had to leave?

I wonder what was so important that she could just leave her friend crying like that.

I just found out what it was. The girl who left, came with her mother. Her mother had previously RSVP'd to another friends wedding event that was on the same night. Apparently they thought they could do both the shower and the wedding thing in one night. @[email protected];

Well...that sucks..
Why couldn't the mom just leave her there and go to her friends wedding?
That'd of made both of them happy then.

I'm not entirely too sure myself. I thought of that too.
The only thing I could think of was that her daughter was going to the wedding thing too?
What's worse is neither of them, the mother or daughter knew that them leaving like they did was going to make the Mommy-to-be cry. The girls mother did at least say she would try and do something to make it up to the mommy-to-be.

Hmm...Well, in my opinion, they should've made one arrangement, or like I said before, one go to each. ;3
But eh, tis their decision. ^^
Well, at least she's gonna do something for her. That's the least she could do.

I thought the same thing. I wouldn't have agreed to go to both, especially if the times for each event over lapped... That's just poor planning on their part. And the reason why I think they both went to both, is because they live a good hour or so away from the events and save gas money... well.. they took the same car and what not.
But I am glad that she's going to make it up to the mommy-to-be. The whole shower kinda started going down hill after those two left because the mommy-to-be was having a lot of trouble cheering up. Thankfully, she did seem better once she started opening all the presents. ^^;

Yehh, I'd say that's really bad planning. I always try to avoid conflicts with stuff like that.. /:
Mmm, well, I guess that makes a little sense. Gas is really expensive now. But they should of told the mommeh that they had to leave for something else..
Yehh, It's good she's making it up. But at least she was better after the presents.
That's always good. ^^;

I the mommy-to-be was just so happy to see that she got everything she'd need. The only thing she didn't get was a crib mattress and I had a raffle set up with the money raised from that to go to the mommy. She wound up with $115 raised from that raffle. More then enough for her to get that crib mattress that she needs. *nod*

Well it's good she got everything she needed.
It'd of been bad if she didn't get alot of it. ;3
Mmm, well at least those aren't expensive. Tis a good thing you had a raffle. I hope whenever I decide to have kids, I'll be able to get everything I need.
Hahaha.
It'd suck to have to buy it all by myself.

I don't think she had to buy very much of it herself. I think a lot of people helped. Even with the larger things. She got the stroller with matching car seat, the play yard, the glider, the crib and changing table and the little swing from people in the family. That's pretty much all the large things ^^; Then everyone else took care of a bassinet and all the small things. I couldn't believe how much stuff she got and how everyone came together and got everything for her that she needed. It was kind of cool >w<

That was indeed poor planning.
At the very least they're going to make it up to her. And the presents sound great!

Wowww, I'd say she's got it all then. ;D
That sounds like most of it, since the basinet always has like, a million and one things in it.

*yawns and stretches.* Goodmorning y'all. Oh... nevermind, it's like 11. I think I'm done sleeping in for today though.
Wow, how odd that there were two events on the same day in the first place. Guess it's a popular time of year to get married and have kids. ^_^'

Lucky, I've always wanted glasses. Blast my stupid healthy eyes. I haven't done anything to deserve them, either. O_o Wish I could exchange good vision for better teeth....
I better wake up and go get my computer soon. Can't just use Will's mac forever.

Ah yes, braces... they ain't bad, and better now than later. There's some older guys at work with braces and they look ridiculous. >_>
I stare at computers all day... Must have been all those carrots I ate as a kid. God I love carrots. Turned orange once cause of them. ^_^'

Yup! I read it somewhere, and Steffie just confirmed it~
*sigh*
I'm trying to think of a way to re-do THIS PIECE for two reasons:
1. I lost the high resolution file when my hard drive crashed.
2. My style has changed so I'm no longer satisfied with it, at least, not as satisfied as I was with it when I first posted it. It's my one deviation with over 200 faves~

That's so weird.
I now know to not eat tons of carrots. ^^;
*gasp*
How can you not be satisfied with that piece? It's sooooo pretty. :]
Sure your style may have changed, but that was your style when you made it, so that's what makes it good too. ^^;
But If you really wanna change it, maybe you could...change the background?
You could make it like...a more watery scene. Maybe like she's in the ocean swimming with fish and dolphins, even though she has wings.
:gonk:
