I'd love to see it on Broadway if Carolee Carmello's still doing the one in New York.

I have to agree about Pierce Brosnan's voice in the movie. It just didn't sound as good as the other people that sang in the movie, when I first heard him sing in the movie, I kind of went "what?", because most of the other people that sang had wonderful voices in the movie. But the movie was nice, and I did like quite a lot of the songs that were in Mamma Mia. I only saw it once in theatres C:

I was surprised to hear Colin Firth sing. His singing voice is quite good and it sounds natural. I would never have guessed him to be a singer, though.

He sang a little bit in The Importance of Being Earnest, so I wasn't that surprised. But he does sound very nice.
I was really happy how many of the large group songs sounded very similar to the original ABBA versions.

Yeah. I went and saw it with a few friends.
It was genuinely a good movie. It wasnt the typical crappy musical that I was expecting.

that movie was awesome! i saw it with my mom, which was sweet because it was a wicked mother-daughter film. Plus it was even more hilarious due to the fact that the entire theater was full of older women, several daughters or younger female relatives, and a rare few men most likely dragged along by their wives. XD it was excellent.

I can't wait for it to come out on DVD. Does anyone know when it's gonna be out, or has it not been announced yet?

Well last last week my daughters and I had a lovely girly night in and we watched a DVD I had gotten from the store. It was Mamma Mia, the musical version inspired by Abba.
Well I really enjoyed the film and wondered if anyone else here had seen it?
If yes did you like it?
What songs do you prefer: Cast or Abba?

I've taken the liberty of merging this with our preexisting 'Mama Mia' thread. Thanks. :)

Never did see the movie, but I saw it on Broadway several years ago, I thought it was really pretty good :D
