My mom is a shopaholic at heart, even if she's very frugal. xDD;;
But even she can't resist buying something that she knows is a real keeper. >;P Especially if it's on sale. DAMN, I love sales and bargains. :'D <3<3
Plus, I enjoy helping shape my mom's style. xDD;; She gets complimented at work with the stuff I tell her to buy, so she trusts me. 8DD;; Same goes for my dad and brother. Which is good, since it's because of those compliments they get that they're more lenient with my shopping sprees (as long as I get something for them, of course~ xDD).

I love sales as well but I think that goes for most people. Who doesn't love to get a bargain or get something that they've been wanting to get on sale. We don't have a lot of vintage stores here but I love them. You never know what you'll find. I think I like the hunt. XD

@ Chi : I bought a jacket (even if I'm burning here, but since it's the off season for jackets they were on sale >;P), a dress, some flip flops, and a nice knitted cover up for my swimsuit. :'> <3<3 Wanted to buy this really gorgeous vintage-inspired necklace, but I decided against it in the end since I didn't want to spend TOO much now. xDD;; Although admittedly I regret not buying it now. >.>;; Oh well~ ^^;;

@ Kessy : I've been good~! ^^ <3<3 And you now? :'D And I just LOVE the hunt! The thrill of finding an awesome article of clothing or a really rare jewelry piece amidst some pretty... rough items is amazing. XP <3<3 And then people compliment you on your find, thinking it was really expensive and all that. xDD;;

@Kes - Very true. Just the other day i got like 2 pairs of very good shoes for $10! xD And the funny thing is they're shoes i wanted previously but were $50 each at the time. Wait a few months and wallah! Cheap stuff :P

I just wear anything swimming. Esp if i'm out with my close friends. I even went in bra and undies once when i didn't bring swimming gear and we went to this river. Me and my friend in bras and undies. Soo funny :P

I even explained how having maids here is different than having maids in, say, the US. :x
Take note that majority of househelp around the world comes from the Philippines.
Coupled with poverty, lack of job opportunities, and other unfortunate things, many people here have no choice but to be maids and drivers. :'<

Ask any other Filipino here (ex. yanyan, whitebeast, etc), and they'll tell you the same thing. Maids here, while still special and a social status, have a TOTALLY different meaning than having maids elsewhere around the world. ^^;;
