I tried to stop going several times. I could never stay away. I even once went as far as to give all my items away. I came back and asked for them back. Luckily the people I gave them to were nice enough to give them back. ^^ I knew them all in real life so...

I went on gaia, got scammed, and am never going back. It is super hard not to though, because I was
a) addicted to it
and
b) its a good site.

Why did I have to be scammed on such a good site *shouts to the heavens*

Oh, I'm sorry that happened! That totally sucks, and it sucks even more that that's part of the reason Gaia's the way it is today. :(

Everyone gets scammed on it... but still. WHY?

It sucks, but I think the reason is because people are greedy. They always want more gold, and they like to take advantage of those that don't know any better. I don't do trades with strangers anymore, because I always got the worse end of the deal usually. It sucks.

Yea, I know what you mean. The thing that bothers the crap out of me is someone is out there using an account with my name... and probably saying nasty things. AND I cant report it!

I once had someone try to hack into one of my mule accounts. They never succeeded, and the only reason I knew was because when I checked that email, I had a message saying that my account was banned for 15 minutes due to too many failed password attempts. I logged into my account and everything was still accounted for, which is a relief.

I don't go on Gaia anymore.
I don't even remember my password.
But the rollback was from when I first started.
When pink/blue giftboxes were still common. Haha.
