Estrella- Things have been pretty crazy for me. I've been in a long distance relationship since the spring, which means good times when we're together, and two depressed people when we're not. Also, the government decided to kill me by threatening to turn one of my student loans over to creditors, take away all my disability money without warning, and trying to take away my food stamps. "I guess I'll just have to LIVE at the hospital..." is my running 'joke' concerning it but it's really no laughing matter. Plus the stress of what's going on with my friends compiled with my own has lead me to call the suicide prevention crisis hotline a few times within the past week or so. It's quite difficult to explain my life without writing a novel. But no, I am not "ok". It's amazing how often people are shook up if you answer something other than "ok" or "fine" for how you are. -sigh-

I'm sorry Crow. That's awful. I am not even sure how to give you any advice except to say that you gotta' trust that it will get better.

And it's true, most people just say "ok," but at least you're able to talk about it. Normally, when my life is going stressful, I keep it to myself - which doesn't help. If you ever need someone to talk to you can shoot me a PM, I'm a really good listener.

I do know about creditors, though. I lost my car almost a year after my divorce and it was in mine and my ex-husband's name (he was supposed to pay for it, but didn't) and I am still getting letters to this day from the company who gave us the loan and all I can do is ignore them 'cause if you don't have the money, you can't pay the bill. It sucks for your credit but it's how it is and they'll harrass you and make you different offers and all you can do is ignore it.

I'm truly sorry it's been so rough.

I feel your pain with the long distance thing. I've been depressed most of my life as well just for different reasons. If you need to talk you can PM me. ]: Hopefully things get better for you.

I use to have 5 minutes but I moved closer to town. AND THANK GOODNESS FOR THAT. I hated getting into the car and all the ceremony for a simple craving. x__X;

I live 15 minute walk away from a mall, stores and more. XD Tons more.

Oh, I don't live in a city. xD I live in a really small town, actually, I just happen to live a block away from 1 of 2 stores. I live about 2 hours away from a mall and 30minutes from a movie theater. xD

The only reasons why my parents haven't moved us to a small town called Didsbury where my mom's friend lives (and her daughter is my friend) is because we're right by my sister's schools and my parents aren't going to make them switch schools... and because drugs are way worse in small towns than in cities. S: The kids have nothing else to do so they party and smoke whatever.

So I think living in a small town would be nice just because you would know everyone and that would be awesome... but at the same time there are a lot of people doing drugs and drinking there. Not that there isn't in the city, it's just 90% of the people in the town will be doing it meanwhile in a city 60% would be... or something. I hope you know what I mean. -.- I'm bad at explaining things.

Oh, I totally understand. I grew up in a town of about 800 people (I moved a lot though, so "grew up" is used loosely) and it is METH CENTRAL. The town I'm in now is a farming community and I know a lot of kids partake of the drinking and debauchery. xD I was never really into since I saw my mom doing it.

I lived in Salt Lake City but I don't remember it so I can't really compare the two. I think, though, I would have a hard time in a city because I've spent so much time in smaller towns. I'll find out soon enough, though, when I have to move to campus away from my wonderful community college. xD

I grew up in a small town. There was only two things to do on a Saturday: go to Dairy Queen or have sex. Three of my cousins ended up pregnant because they were on diets.
