D8< so I'm playing the battle tower in pokemon, where basically you bring in 3 people and fight 7 trainers in a row. These trainers are the smartest trainers in the game, btw, so you'll need a real good strategy to get anywhere.
I get up to like 24 and I lost to a stupid primeape. asdff

I'm using a trickscarf latias, acupressure drapion, and scizor.
Latias timid @ choice scarf.
252 HP, 252 speed
1. trick
2. paralyz opponent with thunderwave.
3. charm if they're using physical attacks
4. recover

Then I switch to either Drapion if the opponent is locked into something that's not an attack move (or if crunch can kill it) or Scizor if anything else.
Drapion
FFFF I don't remember it's EVs
1. Sub
2. Acupressure spam
3. Crunch
4. rest

Scizor
1. sub
2. swords dance
3. bullet punch
4. super power.

I'm thinking of replacing drapion with a heatran though, to absorb fire attacks Scizor is 4x weak to. Plus the acupressure spamming gets annoying after a while.

i haven't played pokemon since the very first game came out on the game boy pocket... man, i'm old lol

My dad did buy a game boy pocket though, but I couldn't use it because when I found out he had one I was already playing Pokemon Crystal.
That version doesn't have the little "slot thingy" on the corner, so it wouldn't fit in to the original gameboy.

@xelao: i like how all the new gameboys/ds's allow you to play all the old games too! but it was a long time ago... it was when the very first pokemon came out... blue and red were the only ones out at the time... then it was yellow and then whatever followed after...
