The charity was on hiatus but has recently returned. I'd still appreciate a link though, but I guess it's less imperitive now that they're back in action.

I have to rant about this somewhere because I'm going crazy. I heard on the news last night that someone is suing McDonalds because they put toys in the Happy Meal claiming that it entices children to ask for a Happy Meal and it's unfair to those mothers who are trying to not feed their kids McDonalds. This sounds completely useless to me. If you don't want your kid to have a Happy Meal, tell them no. If it's the commercials that get the kids enticed then don't let them watch TV with that commercial. I just told my aunt about this and I forget how left-wing she is because she's like "I don't know, it makes sense to me. If there's a screaming fit every time over the Happy Meal then..." Yeah, okay, SAY NO AND SUCK IT UP! If they're going to throw a fit let them throw there fit and be angry but you don't take them to freaking McDonalds. I don't understand why you would waste anyone's time. It blows my mind that people support this. My child never asks for a Happy Meal (though I'm sure her dad buys her them) and even if she did, she'd get a no from me because I don't eat McDonalds. If she threw a fit about it, she'd probably lose her bedtime story or something. I just think it's freaking ridiculous. [/rant]

Tl;dr? It's okay, it's not that big of a deal I just don't see the point in arguing with my aunt over it when hold totally opposite views on it.

YES! That's my point! I thought it was just waste of time and money to sue McDonalds over something like that and my aunts like "I don't know, I know there's some frivolous law suits out there and this might be one of them." MIGHT BE? Seriously! Sometimes I just can't talk to my family because they drive me so freaking crazy. She wouldn't sue when a company she had hired to fix her external hard drive threw it away (it had personal info, pictures of family for the past five years...etc) and she doesn't see any problem with someone suing McDs over a toy in a happy meal?

Aside from the fact that the toys are basically GARBAGE anyway! *huffs* I just need to stop talking about this 'cause it makes me want to yell at people. :XD
