I think I'm being a little more obnoxious than necessary to my poor intern, but she needs to start paying attention. These are what our conversations are like:

Her: What's the username/password for this site?
Me: [requested information]. I'll email you the excel file with all of the username and passwords.
Her: Thanks.

Later...
Her: What's the username/password for this other site?
Me: [requested information] Also, you can find all of the passwords in the excel file I emailed you.
Her: ok

Still later...
Her: What's the username/password for this third site?
Me: [requsted information] Also, you can find all of the passwords in the excel file I emailed you.
Her: ok

...and so on.

Or, I sent her something and said, "These sections haven't been updated yet." About an hour later, she comes over and says, "Hey, this section isn't correct. I've done some work on that since then."

Thats just awesome.

I know it's hard starting a new job, especially as an intern when you know pretty much nothing about the business, so I try to be nice. But still, I swear I was never as slow as some of these people. This isn't about intelligence, it's just about paying attention.

So many people lack common sense and paying attention.
I do all our training at work, and it's just a little convenient store, people ask the dumbest questions.
Whoever said that there is no such thing as a dumb question, was dumb. XD

I get most annoyed when someone asks me a question I've already answered. :<

I work as an "intern" for a hair salon. I just wash towels, empty garbage, wash dishes + brushes + mixing bowls, etc., take calls, reminder calls, setup appointments, and cash out customers.

The hardest part to deal with is the disorganization. The owner doesn't always charge people the same price for the same services, so people just walk out without paying and I don't know whether to chase them down or let them go. And then the program I use will calculate out the cost for their services, but she'll tell me a different price. So I look completely incompetent, and waste the owner's time when I have to ask "How much do I charge them?" each time. Plus, everything is so disorganized! Clutter everywhere!

And a lot of customers are as rude as can be. If I say to you, "Good afternoon, welcome to [business name]! Do you have an appointment?" with a smile, you probably shouldn't respond with a frown and a "Who are you?"
I especially love it when they act impatient or ignore me all together.

At least you didn't have this one person... I was getting my hair cut, a lady comes in, rants about one of the hair people not being there (she didn't make an appointment though...), leaves, comes BACK, rants again, then leaves (finally).
She ranted a total of 30 minutes, no joke. At. All.
