She...And her son was on the boy's soccer team (and is actually now a totally fatty bum pothead alcoholic...her son, I mean, I have no idea what she's been up too, haven't seen her since high school cos she was coaching lacrosse breifly), but they had a couch. XD So she decided to coach the girls' team. :D

My forensics teacher in high school was in a band too, they were pretty good, but they broke up about 3 years ago. I was really sad, they were BADASS live.

Also, Cami....I have no idea honestly. I just remembered I thought she was SO COOL cos she wrote some of the episodes.

I think that FernGully is actually rather informative, rather than being "obnoxious." It kind of lets kids know about that stuff, while still being a good film. I think that you're looking too deep into the films, CK, instead of enjoying them for what they have to offer. Sounds like you're just looking at the negative and taking the films too seriously. They're just little movies directed to kids.

And that sounded kind of rude, actually, but I didn't mean it that way. D: I guess it just makes me sad when people pick apart cartoons and stuff and seem to take them too seriously. Just dont see enough people really enjoying films anymore. :'(

My boyfriend rips apart every movie he watches and always blabs about what he thinks is going to happen, and he's usually right and it's REALLY annoying...I only watch movies I've already seen with him.

I can babble a bit during movies, too. ><;; I get it from my mom. Its almost impossible to get her to shut up for a movie, and its rubbed off on me. I'm trying to stop, though. Slowly working on it, because I know its seriously annoying. Honestly, sometimes I wish it was possible to have a mute button for myself.

But yeah, it irks me when people tear apart the meaning of a movie. I mean, I do my fair share of "how did they do that?" things, but I try to view the movie as an overall, rather than its bad quirks.

I don't mind chatter during a movie...It's the picking it to shreds. I mean why bother watching a movie if you're just going to pick at it and make the other people watching the movie annoyed? Seriously.

I love to gab during movies, but it's generally only if I have no real interest in the movie. I'll cap it if others are watching, though. ahahaha

I think it happens a lot when people (general moviegoers) pick apart movies from books, or try to find some sort of hidden meaning. "Avatar" was a great example of that; I'm just a person who watches a movie and can enjoy it. I couldn't care less about the different supposed allusions to religion that were in it. And I really couldn't care less if the Harry Potter movies followed the books to-the-tee; they were entertaining movies regardless.

Yeah, I was going to say Avatar, too.
I am actually really pissed about how some people talk about that, especially when they dont even have the gull to watch it first. That really irks me. Nobody has the right to trash it if they wont even watch it. :talk2hand:

I agree Su.

That said, I don't NEED to see the Twilight movie in order to know it was terrible.
I read the books, and those made me want to punch all the characters in the face enough as is. xD I can't imagine the movie is any better.

Ferngully was an amazing movie BECAUSE it forced environmental awareness down kids throats. Movies with a true purpose while maintaining a solid and well written storyline are incredible. Avatar had the same moral and I loved it as well.

Want some decent animated films without as severe moral? Among my favorites are The Lion King, How to Train Your Dragon, Finding Nemo, Happy Feet, The Fox and The Hound, All Dogs Go to Heaven and Alpha & Omega.
