Ah, okay then. Still a strange book. Generally they have you read the classics or social commentary books.

Hrmm. Supposedly it became a musical. How old are you? It seems like a young book.

Well happy early birthday!
On the book: From the first page, it seems to quote a crapload of Shakespeare and old myths. If you need any help with background, let me know.

This is the problem I find frequently with homeschooling: it seems to leave out classical mythology completely. Did you see the movie Troy?

Alright, well, if you get confused by all of the Greek names and play references, look up the Trojan War. That's what her play is about.

From what i've heard, it seems like homeschool is made too easy. Not really fair, if you ask me.
Just like how the trouble kids just go to charter school and its like as easy as elementary school, practically. I knew a guy that went in there because he'd threatened the teacher, and he was a total idiot, and he still passed with absolute ease. He'd tell us about what they'd do, and they'd just have movies and popcorn all the time, or go out on fieldtrips and stuff. And they never actually had to turn homework in. It pissed me off. Trouble kids shouldn't be being rewarded by getting through highschool with little to no effort at all.

Hi Demi!
Suona: Well, I've a number of friends that were homeschooled, and many of them have a really nice education, but I definitely think it tends to avoid mythology since a large number of homeschoolers do so for religious reasons. Which is a shame, really, because mythology is so frequently referenced.
