Hmm. Yeah, I often get told its because of IE. I wonder why Mene glitches so bad with some things with IE. It probably doesn't help that I haven't updated my IE in ages because I like the way it is now and dont want a bunch of changes. ><;; But I dont like using other browsers, and I actually dont even have any other browsers on my laptop. @[email protected];;

Menewsha is optimized for FF, and IEs kindof a crappy browser, so I don't think it was taken deeply into consideration, which I think is a mistake to be honest, because a LOT of people use IE still.

I like my FF, been using it for years, hated it at first, now it's my favorite.
Except for the fact it crashes a lot, THAT sucks.

I actually prefer IE. It just suits me better, I guess. I'm use to it, and I know how to use it. And I dont really have any problems with it. Except for times like this when some sites I go on dont work right with it. >_>

Haha. Yeah. I do some simple ones every now and then, but not usually simple when it comes to color. Every now and then I try, but its hard to not add more to them. ><;;

Yeah, I have a hard time keeping it simple. There are just so many layers and possibilities that you always just want to keep adding MOAR! XD

You know, you should at least upgrade IE to the latest version. I mean, I can understand not wanting to change, because when they update IE, it's usually a significant change. But they've improved IE quite a bit when it comes to meeting Web standards. So now it's more likely that webpages will look "correct" when you visit them. Like, they'll look the same in FF and IE.

I have major issues with this at work, because my boss uses IE and I use FF (they don't make IE for Mac anymore, so I don't have much of a choice). There are definite differences in the way IE displays content compared to FF, and for no reason at all. When I check my coding for line breaks my boss says he's seeing, I don't see any breaks at all. It makes NO sense.

Anyways, our database program no longer works well with IE, so most everyone in my office is switching to FF. I don't think my boss will, because he's VERY suck in his ways, so I'll always be fighting with IE vs. FF.

Mene's optimized for FF because overall, it's a better browser. Yes, most of the world still uses IE, but I think that's going to change in coming years.

And yeah, it does get hard. Also I just always get the urge to balance and keep it well coordinated, if that makes sense. Just bugs me sometimes when things aren't flowing just right together.

Yeeeeah, but i'm like your boss, and pretty stubborn. I know that if I update it, it'll change a bunch of stuff, and then i'll be all confused, and the little quirks I like might be gone. If they keep changing so much, then it'll be no different than if I were to use FF, which is a bummer for me. I like that its different.

But it would be wise to update. It might help better for here on Mene, too.

@Demo: Yeah, saving can be difficult, for sure. Man, back in the day I remember it was sooo hard to make money. Somehow it's gotten easier over the years. XP

hehehe. Yeah, change is something you've got to get used to -- because one day you're gonna be old, and still using IE 4 or whatever, and your grandkids are gonna be like, "Grandma, why didn't you keep up with the times?! We don't even know how to USE this!" :lol:

But yeah, you've gotta stay current, otherwise you're in a world of hurt later on down the line when the program you refuse to update no longer works. XP

I think the best I've ever done with saving up gold is saving up till somewhere after 5k. I can't remember the exact number, but it was pretty high for me. :lol:

It drives me nuts how many old people, even some not that old people, have no idea how to use computers or even other simpler technology. I dont want to be one of those old people, but only time will tell. Who knows what kind of technology will be around by then. Probably something amazing that my old mind wont be able to appreciate. xP

Well, I spend any excess money I have right away on mene, unless I'm saving for something, and then I do ok, sometimes I'll splurge here and there though. :lol:

Uhg, so not excited. in like 20 minutes I have to go to the dentist.

The dentist is never something to be excited over, but you'll be so glad you went in the long run.

I dont like going to the dentist either.
My teeth are fine, but I should do a yearly visit anyway, even if only to make sure they stay healthy.

Meh, I wanna get my teeth fixed, but it might mean staying here with my family for a month. :( I don't think I can last that long without losing my mind.
Plus, I have to leave my bf in N C, and I don't want to leave him. :(

Yes, but for however long I'm going to be here, I'm going to be very very lonely. I don't do well without a "companion." :sweat: Not that I need them to do things for me, I just...There's something really nice about falling asleep next to someone every night. :lol:
If I can make it possible in two weeks, I might try to stay here for those two weeks.
Any longer, and I might just get the tooth with the hole removed, and the failed root canal just removed instead.
And then get the cavities filled in some shoddy place in my city.
